I know you've been watching football since the 80s, so statements like this, made so frequently from you make me wonder how many games in that time span you've been sober from....

You don't know a QB is "a fucking shitty QB" with 6 starts under his belt.... Especially on a terrible team.... Sure, he may turn out that way, but he may turn out to be a stud.... Your perspective is just plain irrational though

    Come on bro, get real

AND he thinks Chad should be the starter.

Thats funny as hell. Those Chad-o-holics/lovers are hilarious.

Chad is a nice backup to have...well he would be if he wasn't paid like a big time starter.

Beaman - But you know enough about Chad this year playing on that same shitty team to bench him and then trade him away?

The problem with the KC lovers is that they will have a short memory. If he is a bust next year they will be screaming about how horrible the team is and the coaching staff and drafting a new QB.

You will see the KC fans are fair-weathered.

No, the wind had no effect. That's why Brady, who is having the greatest season that any quarterback has ever had, threw for 90 yards and had a 50% completion percentage with an interception. I'm sure if it was 50 degrees and sunny with no wind that Brady would have had that same stat line.

It's downright amazing how the clueless folks on this board can criticize Chad for his play today. Clemens hasn't played as well as Chad did today at any point this season and if KC played as well today as Chad did you guys would be singing his praises. The guy was forced into action against the best team in the NFL on the road and inherited a 7-0 deficit. he was put in tough spots w/ he playcalling, he had aton of drops, he had no Coles(thanks to the great KC), he had no running game and he still had us very much in this game and it was a game we could have won if NOT for KC's INT, the 4th and 2 playcall, te Baker fumble, th Nuge missed FG and the McCareins drop. Chad played a heck of a game today and you guys are so delusionl in your hatred of Chad you could not see it. it's a shame.

Of course they are... He's a young QB... We're not saying he's great, we're saying he needs a chance to prove himself... Give him a full 16 starts before you declare whether or not he is going to be our QB of the Future...

And yes, we know enough about Chad... He's not a bad QB, but we've gotten as far as we're going to get with Chad...

He's been the starter here since 2002, and he is what he is... He's not leading the Jets any further than he already has.....

Chad has 5 years worth of work, while Clemens has 6 games...

Man,mark my words. If the Jets go into next year with building anything around Clemens as their #1,it will be as bad as this year has been.

Chad is like that girlfriend you break up with but once in a while shows up at the doorstep for ex sex.

Today was one of those days. As usual, the sex was safe and decent at best...just good enough for some suckers to proclaim how much they miss it.

    It's not a shame, I'm not delusional, and I don't hate Chad.

I don't know if you're referring to me with this post, but he played no different today than any game all year. Defenses take away the middle of the field and he is forced to throw short out patterns. That's reality.

It's also no way to win many games in the NFL.

Maybe it will be, but we'll never know if we don't try...

To unilaterally declare that Clemens sucks after 6 starts is unreasonable...

He's gotten half of this year.. Give him to the halfway point in next year to start to prove he can be the man... If he doesn't show anything by then, we should start to think about drafting a QB....

Doing so now would be questionable, and reverting to a veteran now would be downright foolish

Chad would be excellent if he could go down field Kevin Clemens on the other hand has some really bad habits which I would hope he can be coached out of, But am starting to doubt it.
My gut instinct is that Kellen will be roping steers back home pretty soon.

Chad has had two potential career ending surgeries on his throwing arm...and KC's problem is? I keep hearing he is this big strong armed stud...

As a 30+ year Jets fan, this may be the first time in those years that we will be trading (or releasing) a better QB and keeping a lesser. We will know within a few years when we see what Chad does on another team and what KC does for us.

I hope you are all correct about KC - because we are stuck with him now.

I agree, everyone just loves to Blame chad. The guy did as good as anyone could in his situation, getting sacked, dropped passes, put in on 3rd and long when they know hes gonna throw. Brady wouldn't have done any better in Penningtons shoes today. Morons.
