So why is he getting screwed because most of the guys around him cannot. It's bull, I don't care how physically limited he is, this game is a blowout with that kid Clemens. He shows no fight and no heart until 2 mins are left in a game that is out of reach. Also, the coaches don't give him the right chances to succeed. You gotta run the ball more. You can't bring him in on 3rd and long after the option. He got into a rhythm once it was too late when he finally got to play. Not his fault his reciever can't catch, his kicker can't kick, and his coach outcoaches himself. KEEP CHAD.
Iv always been a Chad Supporter but at the same time... He throws way to many passes that can be picked off and ran the other way for 6... We will never win a SB with Chad... We may never win a SB with Kellen, but we will never win a SB with Chad and his lack of arm strength.

Bingo. That drive at one point in this game that was pure Dink n' Dunk, it moved the offense down the field, but took so much time off the clock. If only he had the arm strength to throw down the field, we would have won the game, considering we had no many opportunities to score.
Chad is not going to lead a mediocre Jets team anywhere but down into the cellar. Now hopefully we can get up to the point of mediocrity to see what Clemens can do with that. This teams just blows chunks at this point. I have never been more disappointed in a Jets team ever, and that's saying a lot. Three years ago when I was saying Bradway had destroyed the Jets and it was just a matter of time before they crumbled I was hoping the new regime, whenever it came, would aggressively rebuild. Instead we got the losers we have now and Bradway never left and we'll be the Dolphins in 2 seasons at the rate we're going.
I always liked Chad, in large part because of what he showed us today. But its just not his team anymore, he deserves playing time somewhere else.
His line sucks. His #3 and #4 recievers blow. His coach is inexperienced and outcoaches himself early in the game. He picked apart the Pats D against the wind. He threw a bullet TD pass. Come on guys, Clemens has the physical ability but he'll never have Chad's intangibles. He's getting treated like crap. It's sad.
Youre clueless. Picking apart a D isnt checking down on every play. He made some nice throws, but did you see how long it took us to go 65+ yards? 17 plays! Not to mention about 3 of his passes coulda went back for 6.
Clemens is a fucking shitty QB. I dont give a shit that he hasnt played a full season. The guy is garbage. Getting rid of Chad is a mistake.
I don't think either QB on the roster is the long term solution but I think relying on Clemens plus crappy backup QB next year will be a disaster. There needs to be a reliable failsafe next year that is not Tui.
I don't think putting 3 points on the board (potentially 10) is improving, or hurting his trade value... We'll still be lucky to get a 4th rounder for him...
Pennington's arm would not be able to lead us into the Super Bowl. Kellen has some stuff, he has some mobility, and usually makes good decisions with the ball. The Jets have a horrible O-Line which does not let Clemens show his true stuff.
