I'm only 19, so I've only got about 11 years of watching every game under my belt...

That being said, I like to read up on the history, and absorb as much of it as I can.... Up until we stopped playing in Oakland every year, in 2003 I think, I hated Miami the most, then Oakland, then New England...

Now it's Miami followed distantly by New England...

But since Miami has no fans, I hate New England's fans supremely....

My partner lives in Boston but he doesn't give me to much shit, probably because I'm the managing partner and sign the checks? I never really hated on Miami either, I'm so long in the tooth I still consider them an expansion team.

Can you read? The guy that I quoted called Mangini a "rat". I replied with "at least he's not a cheater".

I think it's great that Mangini and the Jets staff caught Belichick and turned him into league officials.

True. The funny thing is I really never hated the Jets until Mangini went over (and then ratted). Always hated the dolphins. The Jets... not really. I mean I liked to see them lose only because it's a NY team and all, but no real animosity (for me) until recently.

Plus, I am back and forth for business between NY and Boston, so it's a real hoot to watch the games with my cousins from NY (Long Island) and friends down there. The pain you guys are going through now with all your teams -- since about 2000 anyway -- is just too much fun to pass up for most of us. Seriously, would you guys not be relishing it if you had Bill Belichick and all the titles?

Yeah, I would be enjoying their success as well. That being said, what I don?t understand is that some (Boston fans) make it seem that any team's success or failure, especially failure, is in some way a reflection on the fans, as if we (the fans) have anything to do with it. As if Boston fans have anything to do with the Patriots success?

I don't think any rational fan (Boston or anywhere) thinks he is actually out there tackling people or anything. If he/she does they need a serious shrink.

It's just fans talking smack and giving the opposing team's fans some shit. It's harmless and -- believe me --mine is meant (mostly) good natured. Though I must admit that tomorrow it will be fun up here in Boston to see you Jets fans writhing in pain as you turn off your TVs in the 2nd quarter or at least are forced to avert your eyes. :rofl2:

The Jets have nothing to lose tommarow. If we lose 50-0 it's not like the Pats haven't done that this year to the Redskins(52-7) and the Bills 56-10.

I look at this as a great chance to play in what the media wants to look at as a important game. We haven't had this much coverage since last years playoff game. It just makes the game more fun.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that some (Boston fans referred to their team as "we"): Who's 'we'? Like if they?re part of the team?

    Quote: From BRADYBRADYBRADY whatever...

Yeah, I agree with you 100% this guy really needs a shrink!

I here you dude, Talkin' smack with opposing team?s fan is fun sh!t. That being said, just remember what goes around, comes round dude.

    Peace out.

Good article from Michael Smith of ESPN, guy who used to work in the Boston area.

Game time is about 3 hours away and still no changeover from snow. I'm just outside Boston (~ 30 miles northeast of Foxboro), but I'd say an extra 8" now on the ground. Just looked at the radar and I think it's going to stop before the game. These weathermen have less of a clue than Mangini and his staff - who'd a thought that was even possible!

So it looks like....just a little cleanup of the snow and then the sun will pop out, the winds will die down and then....

    bukakke time for the Jets!

Now Mangini is a terrible coach? Did you take a look at Belichek's record without Brady? It isn't pretty.

You think 3 and 10 is an indication of a good coach? This is his team... his guys.... he owns this 3 and 13 team.

You don't play the games with the coach you want... you play the games with coach you got.
