I doubt Otah falls to the second and there is no way in hell Crable falls to the 3rd.

The Crable fall might happen. I think he'll get picked towards the end of the 2nd...and this draft is VERY deep at offensive tackle, so Otah COULD fall, but it's unlikely.

    A few observations:

Randall Gay...........A "JAG" CB, no thanks. Agreed we need to upgrade the other CB position, but Gay isn't much of an improvement.

Chris Long is fine, but Lawrence Jackson is going to be a DE playing with his hand down. I had Jackson DE, as a high 2nd rd pick to the Jets in my mock last month. Jackson is a very smart play with good size and IMO, has a big upside. Moore will be a Rd 2 pick. I'm leaning more to a player like Balmer in Rd 2 for the Jets, believe he's going to be a very good 3-4 DE.

If the Jets win one more game, they are out of the Chris Long/Mcfadden sweepstakes....so....Gholston in Rd 1 and Balmer (if he lasts, may go late rd 1)in Rd 2 would be Ideal. Would be a huge improvement to our front 7.

    Huh?

The best DT in the league who happens to be only 26 won't help us?

He's one of the guys in the league who is just impossible to block with just one guy, and he's athletic enough to pass rush.

Thats what you want in a 3-4 end.

Every big player in the league takes alot of plays off. Even elite athletes get tired, and a 320 pound one is going to feel a little bit of a strain sometimes having to eat up double teams and so on. Why do you think Jarvis Green and Kenyon Coleman had such good numbers as backups? Most DTs and 3-4 DL players work in a rotation...it's just impossible to expect a guy to eat a double team for 100% of the snaps in an NFL game.

As for the post you were replying to (about his breakout season)...this is Haynesworth *best* season, not breakout season. He's been considered one of the leagues best and most talented DT's for a little while now. It may be the first where you hear and remember the name for his play on the field and not a kick to the face, but he's been good for a while.
