What would really help, is if Brandon Moore and Adrien Clarke somehow
somehow turned into productive NFL level guards....

Pats could play in quicksand and they would still have the advantage.

Although I agree with Beamen to a point, I have seen big trundlers do very well in heavy weather, puddles of slush and ice on the field, while the smaller guys were sliding all over the place. I loved playing in that stuff because my legs are thicker at the calf and I have a lower center of gravity, but taller players have a difficult time playing the leverage game. I think the weather will affect the Pats' O-line less due to their blocking scheme; the zone requires them to find the zone in a forward motion many times where a man-blocking scheme will lock the lineman into a reactive position where his feet are planted more and he is more apt to lose his footing trying not to lose his footing.

I think the same applies to defensive schemes, stunts are hindered because it's really difficult to plant your feet laterally and push off the scoot around that back of a D-tackle and get penetration, outside rushes either peter out or over pursue, it's a nightmare all-around but I think the team that is most prepared to deal with those elements is the one that performs well. Which is why the Dolphins always suck in December.

    Raiders fans are WORSE.

Eagles fans are FAR WORSE...and they have never even won anything. Every team has their jerky fans but I have to say I've always been treated well by the Chowds in Foxboro. Maybe its just the internet Chowds who are annoying.

It's funny, of your 18 posts, all but 3 of them are either praising the Pats, bashing the Jets, predicting a loss for the Jets, or some combination of the 3....

Aside from your one post talking about how CMart's # should be retired, you show no evidence of being a Jet fan...

I thought it was funny enough to scan his posts about 1 minute before I read this and came to the same conclusion.

Maybe his handle is referring to Dan Klecko? He was, at one time, a Patriot, afterall...

Howling winds can only help the Jets if they occur. Anything that slows down the Pats passing game is a huge plus for the Jets. The Pats aren't the best rushing team around by any stroke of the imagination. Of course it probably wouldn't be enough for the Jets to win but it would make for a much closer game.

Well I apologize for Jets bashing but after the last few weeks I really can't find it in me to say many good things. Would it make you feel better if I predict a win even if I don't believe it? I'm so pissed at this team right now I find it hard to see the positives. We COULD us a guy like Curtis on this team.

I'll get my pom poms out if it will make you feel better.

That's probably what he was giggling about when he typed it in the reg page. I'm still tweaked that you beat me to the punch, though. DAMN YOU, BEAMEN!

As of right now, the winds are predicted to be up to 30mph. If that is the case then at least their deep game will be hindered. Perhaps that will allow our D line to do some damage.

If the conditions are as bad as they say they may be, look for Washington to have a huge game. In fact, look for him to be the primary RB on Sunday.

I dont know. I played on both sides of the ball in High school. And offense guard in college. I found that it neither hindered nor benefitted me because your opponent is playing under the same conditions. Sometimes I could push the guy around cause he did not get the proper footing quick enough and the same went for him if he caught me off guard. the only benefit I see in bad weather is for receivers because they know where they are going and corners have to react. Which can be dificult in mush.

it will hurt the pats more than us. they have no real ground game. they ran the ball 9 times last week...9 times...(i feel like ed rooney talking to mrs bueller). the pats have a pass first offense...and with the recievers they have it is no shocker. but they havent really been running effectively.

it will be interesting to see what happens if they have to play in some real tough weather.

Yes, I could agree or disagree with this comment because it is very difficult for me to make a decision, but I think might agree, on the other hand, maybe not.
