I've said in another thread that I have not seen many games at all this season so I would really really appreciate any help in tracking down that talent which is just bubbling under the radar.

The one player who isn't excactley under the radar that I like is Jamie Silva (FS~ BC) really tough player who reads the game fantastically. Great at the run and pass coverage.
    BCs top defender.

Josh Morgan (Virginia Tech, WR) might be the next Chad Johnson

    Terrific size and athletism.

A physical player who can make big plays in both the passing game and on special teams ... Led the Hokies in touchdown catches last season with four and blocked two kicks ... Is big, tall and athletic ... A Super Iron Hokie in the weight room ... Can make the tough catches ... Has the ability to pick up yards after a catch, and the coaches are looking for him to do that on a more consistent basis ... Carries a career average of 16.6 yards per catch on 76 catches ... Is tied for sixth in career touchdown receptions at Tech with 11 ... Can have a big season if he remains focused.

Sure he's fast, but he's nothing like Chad Johnson, unless he likes to get personal fouls for high-jacking TV cameras.

Chad Johnson is still fairly light. He hasn't been over 200 pounds in his careers, but his speed allows him to dominate in some games.

Josh Morgan is around 215-220 pounds, and doesn't have that same second gear like Johnson, but Morgan is a solid sleeper pick in my opinion. He has the ability to develop into a number 1 receiver. His combine numbers could boost his value and make him a late 2nd to early 3rd rounder.

He reportedly runs a sub 4.4. And he has the attitude of Chad Johnson. Maybe Terrell Owens is a better comparison. The kid is our best receiver and I think better than Wilford was for us. I point to two games with Morgan. '04 Sugar Bowl and '05 ACC Championship. Josh Morgan almost single handedly staged a comeback in both of those games after getting whooped up for the majority of it. I wouldn't take him on the Jets on the first day but after that he is a steal. Either way he is 10x better than Eddie Royal. I actually like Justin Harper as well as an ultra mega 3rd receiver at best sleeper.

Kory Robertson might be a good backup in the league. We play a fast and light defense so he never really fit but he has size.

Is Marcus Monk considered a sleeper? I know he'd be getting more attention if he hadn't been for the knee surgery. But the dude is huge. 6'6" the jets need him at WR. We haven't had a WR that big since Keyshaun.

i don't know about Silva for the Jets. I'm just not sure how well his skills will translate in the NFL. He's a little slow and suspect in coverage, although a great ball hawk. For me it seems like he would make a great special teams player or 8th man in the box as he is ALWAYS around the ball and in on pretty much every tackle. I'm not gonna pretend that i'm good at evaluating talent so i'll leave it for the experts to decide where he belongs in the draft but with the holes we have i wouldn't mind taking him anytime after the 5th round

Don't get me wrong though, I would absolutely love Jamie on the Jets. I'd by that jersey in a second (assuming there was one), he is a fan favorite at BC

I don't know if this guy is considered a sleeper because people define that term in different ways.
Several years back, I called Deion Branch a sleeper and thought he'd be a quality player. A guy on a Yahoo message board jumped all over me and called me an asshole for suggesting Branch was a sleeper.

    Anyway, James Hardy, WR, Indiana.
He is a huge target with athleticism. He compares to Terrell Owens and Brandon Marshall.
I don't know about Hardy's character and head. If he's a smart football player and a decent guy, he'll be a big star in the NFL.

    Joe Flacco, Quarterback from Delaware.

Flacco transferred from Univ of Pittsburgh to get playing time at Delaware...he's done pretty well, leading the Blue Hens to the Division I Championship this weekend against the Michigan killer App State.

He's 6'6 235 and his stats, with one more game to play are 3,929 yards with 22 TDs and only 5 picks.

He looked the part of an NFL QB from what little I saw of him the other night. I simply have not seen enough to make an educated guess as to whether or not he can start on the NFL level or just be a 2nd or 3rd stringer.

I had liked Andre Woodson early in the college season. The more I saw of him the less I liked him.
I have never been a big fan of Brian Brohm.

I think Jacob Hester might be a great sleeper in the third round or later. Never a true running back but someone who will come in and do the dirty work and get tough yards when you need it. I like him better than Leonard but then again I didn't like Leonard.

    Bump.

Did anyone see NFL countdown , Mayock really bigged up Silva , thinks that he will get drafted and be a situational defender/STer.
God I really hope we get him , love watching him play.

I think he need a slot reciever so we canrun more 3-4 wide reciever sets. The giants really screwed with the pats in that offense.

yeah Hester is the next Brad Smith only even better. I think that he will be even better because he is more effective in the run game than smith

O.K. Here is my sleeper pick. Jordy Nelson- Kansas_ WR if he is there in the 4th round we have to take him. He is the hands reciever this team needs and if deceptively fast. Reminds me of Cotchery, don't believe the timed speed.

from what ive seen in the combine dustin keller, TE from Purdue should break it up in the pros
And my personal fav Dre Moore out of maryland should be a great player either as a 43 tackle or as a 34 end...BTW he comes out of a school that is known of producing physical freaks (he rans somehing like 4.8 and has a power clean of 415 pounds)
