I think the title says it all. At least all this misery will bring something good to come. There is a light at the end of the tunnel folks, and it starts with this kid from Arkansas.

  2. I dont want this to start another long debate..and I understand the opposition's viewpoint...but i have NEVER wanted a player in the draft to go to the Jets...more than i want McFadden.

So he's going to block for himself then run through the holes he makes? This isn't Heroes.

We won't get Mcfadden unless the 49ers start winning games, the Pats still own the #2 pick

    No thanks.

Lets look at Chester Taylor shall we. A great running back just like Adrien Peterson. Why? The offensive line. Let keep Jones and Washington and spend the bucks on a guard or whatever we need upfront.

If he doesn't fall to us, I want to trade down.

Well come on, I see it as no different than those that wanted us to trade up for Bush two years ago...and he's been average at best as a running back. His playmaking comes from playcalls designed for his receiving talents, which our CS probably wouldn't have done.

I think that we need to shore up our O-Line before we even think about the skill positions. Our O-Line sucks and it's deflating our entire Offense.

At the very least, that would make the Jets the darling of FoxSports.

No way. Howie Long is a Raider for life. Everytime he says the word "Jets" it comes out sounding like Seinfeld when he says "Newman".

It'd be really interesting to watch him contort himself to praise his kid while belittling the Jets though. He might even sprain his tongue.

The fact that the OL got pushed around like little retarded girls during that 2nd quarter goalline drive should clearly show what our true problem is.

The lack of playmakers on both side of the ball(particularly the O) is as big a weakness as any. Jets are in no position to pass on the BPA with a top 5 pick, whoever that ends up being.

This offseason needs to be about getting help for Clemens and giving him the best possible chance to succeed. He desperately needs more weapons as well as help on the line.

If McFadden is there, then its a no brainer for the jets.
There will be good olinemen available in the 2nd and 3rd round as well as free agency.

I want Gholston, but we won't be able to take him in the top 5...If we end up in the top 5...the Jets WILL take Chris Long.

I have to agree with the first part of this post 100 percent. With the exception of Rhodes there are zero playmakers on this roster and no one that opposing teams have to "game plan" for.
