Has the Jet's taking James Lauranitis at #3, passing on Chris Long. I don't see it. Personally, I think the Jet's will be close to the #10 pick than #5. I think the Jet's end up at around and take Vernon Gholdston from Ohio State.

'm telling you with 100% conviction Limas Sweed Texas is the best WR coming out this year. 6-5 218lbs and didn't get to play because of injury. He'd have been up there with Roy Williams in the Texas record books if he got to play. I'd watch his 40 time close in a combine but if he runs 4.5 he's a steal in the 2nd or 3rd round... I'm telling you... no way should there be a need to reach for one of these other players when he'll be there 2nd round. 20 TD's ranks him 2nd all time at Texas - 6th in career receptions... Guaranteed #1 prospect at WR in the draft if he didn't sit out his senior season.

Yeah, but he could very well still be the 1st WR off the board...no guarantee he slips out of the 1st.

I sticking to my advice--if McFadden is there take him--if not trade down and stockpile picks--don't waste another #4 overall on a DRob or DBrick

I completely agree. I wouldn't trade down if we're not getting good value for the pick though, and I'm not so sure we will if McFadden's gone.

Keep an eye on Marcus Monk too. Hey, with a name like Monk, he has to be a bad ass receiver.

Gholston is a badass and I have gotten to watch a lot of him, but is he big enough for DE of fast enough for OLB in the 3-4?

He is absolutely fast enough for OLB...He would be able to rush the QB alot though...kinda like what SD does with Merriman.

We really need a pass rush specialist...this guy would be our John Abraham...minus the injuries.

Limas Sweed? We really need to get on top of our front seven, and we really even need another cornerback before we go after a wide receiver. I'm going to wait and watch how Brad Smith does the rest of the way before I jump on the wide receiver bandwagon.

As long as we take a defensive player with the first pick, I'll be satisfied. I feel like our defense is has a lot of young talent, and we should keep stockpiling young defensive talent. Laurenitis would be a great pick, but I don't think we'll be sitting at 3.

We can pick up recievers in the mid-rounds, or look to free agency.

At 264 he's certainly not big enough. If we're going to fill the d-line we need to do it with ends weighing in at around 300 lbs, probably 10 lbs off would be the limit.

Mock Drafts are made in every possible scenerio and then at the end everyone says "I told you so". A waste of time.

Just the Word Mock pisses me off. Put this in the damn draft forum!
