Might have something to due with lack of sellouts/local blackouts. That reduces the total number of viewers for that game.
It looks like the Denver-Oakland game will not be done in HD this week. The Jets will be in HD in the NY area on CBS 2, but DirecTV will not air the game in HD as part of Sunday Ticket.

Mostly because Fox's compression is garbage. Yes, although some channels are 'HD' there is still forms of compression depending on bandwidth and how the chennel decides to use it. But I'll tell you this. Anyone who has seen uncompressed HD knows the clarity of it is incredible and if you've seen 1080p uncompressed on a 1080p set WOW (on Displays). there is a difference. Unfortunately almost every form of OTA HD we get has some form of compression.
Unfortunately no. It is a 3.5 hour drive. I have 2 young children, and they are not ready to go to a NFL game in person. And going alone is not an option since I do not have a person to babysit them. I will simply watch them on DTV.
Wow I am sooooooooooooo suprised that you cannot locate a baby sitter to go see your team play live & in person since you profess to be such a NYJ fan + a mod on this board. So what about the drive I did it each & every year I lived in Florida going 2 hours at least in each direction to go see our team play live & in person. To bad maybe if you would have taken my recommendation you would have had the $$$$$$ to hire a limo to take you to & from the game without any stress whatsoever
It's funny that the guy who has completely missed games through the years(didn't even tape/tivo them) is criticizing someone else or not gong to a game.
U still do not get it so I will try one last time. Every game was TAPED when I was not there or when I was traveling more then 2 weeks because I could not change the DTV converter from channel to channel when U R in Bangkok & the converter is in Texas. I DID NOT watch the loses since they have zero value so why waste time watching something that has no value? These days I WATCH the games as they are played on DTV. Now do you get it. Again you criticize someone for not driving 3+ hours to watch a game in person yet you don't watch losses but the really funny thing is you comment on losses that haven't watched as if you know what you are talking about.

This is great.... complaining about wheather you can get the game in HD........lol.....A little perspective, I live in west Central Fl. where they have been broadcasting both meetings of NYJ vs FINS for years.... now because of they both suck, CBS is carrying the Jags/Colts game instead.....lol... I CANT EVEN WATCH IT
NOT NOW years ago & yes I may still miss a game as I posted when I am somewhere else in the world. However he lives in the state where the game is being played which is far different say between Bangkok & Clarmont. Also why are U even involved sine it does concen U one iota?
