The networks still have a limited amount of HD camera's so they use them for the games that will get the best ratings. It does suck not to get the game in HD though.
oh, that really blows....one of the only three games we're going to win, and I can't see the fear in Clemens's eyes when the Dolphins pin back their ears...
I hope these guys know how bad it was this year and it will never happen again. UGHHHHHHHHH. Can't get respect if you suck all the time.
According to the CBS Sportsline website, the game is going to be shown in HD http://www.sportsline.com/cbssports/schedules/page/nfl CBS Sports 2007-08 NFL Schedule Program, Time (ET) NFL on CBS Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 2 (Flexible Scheduling) The NFL Today presented by Southwest Airlines, 12:00-1:00 p.m.(CBS HD) Jacksonville @ Indianapolis, 1:00 p.m. (CBS HD) San Diego @ Kansas City, 1:00 p.m. (CBS HD) N.Y. Jets @ Miami, 1:00 p.m. (CBS HD) Houston @ Tennessee, 1:00 p.m. (CBS HD) Buffalo @ Washington, 1:00 p.m. (CBS HD) Cleveland @ Arizona, 4:05 p.m. (CBS HD) Denver @ Oakland, 4:05 p.m.
No matter how bad the fins and us are...this game is always a good one to watch...classic rivalry game. I would expect it to be shown in HD or whatever other measure of watchability the networks use.
I have DirecTV, maybe it will be on Channel 2 in HD here in NY, but the Sunday Ticket only shows SD for the Jet game and the Denver/Oak game. CBS does not show every game in HD whereas Fox has them all
Does it really matter if the game is in HD or not? Both teams suck so who gives a shit if you can see the ineptitude in 1080p or not?????
i really dont see the big deal with the hd thing, it really isnt that big of a difference and surely doesnt change my experience.
CBS has a maximum capacity of 6 HD games each Sunday (Fox is either 6 or 7). So a local channel can upconvert the signal, but it won't be an HD broadcast.
The issue isn't necessarily HD vs. SD, but that when you have an HDTV an SD broadcast looks worse on the HDTV than it does on a regular TV. It is especially true for football where the picture quality appears even worse than for other programs.
