No, that's great. You lose his terrible contract and terrible pitching without having to pay a damn thing.
hmm..that's 4 in their last 13 games but I know you like to count half series. Count the whole series and it's 7 in the last 20. What exactly is the Mets record in the last 4 years again? And how many times were you even in the playoffs over those 4 years? I don't think you have earned the right to diss anybody but yourselves.
You would have hoped to get something for him wouldn't you? But I guess your right. Who do they have in mind then? Yorvit is set to sign with the Rockies, do they go talk to LoDuca?
1st off I can count it however I want there was no GYC before game 4 of the Sox series so there is no reason to count before it. Again I also said Met fans have no right to diss Yankee fans but lets be honest we've both sat by and watched Arizona, Anaheim, Florida, Boston, Chicago, St Louis and Boston win WS titles while we've won exactly what you guys have....... nothing. And if you really wanna get technical with the teams splitting the what last 3 Subway series and the Mets winning the one before it's apparent that the Yankees and Mets are pretty much on the same level. You can count all the playoff appearances you want but the bottom line is you still need to win and it's something you guys haven't done a whole lot of lately. Is it disapointing to be a Met fan? Of course but we go into the season knowing we are the 2nd team in NY and when we fail it's expected by the media but when you guys fail it's a disaster.
what do media expectations have anything to do with the Mets failing and your right to dis yankee failures? hahah thats comical...by the way, according to almost all media, both local and national...you were supposed to run away with the NL east last year bobo
The Mets are already shopping new catcher Johnny Estrada. But word is that if they can't succeed in moving him, they still hope to land a catcher, enabling them to non-tender Estrada and save the $4 million-plus he'd get in arbitration. Whatever they do with Estrada, it was the right move for the Mets to send Guillermo Mota to Milwaukee in the deal since his backloaded contract calls for $3.2 million in '08. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/jon_heyman/11/29/thursday.scoop/1.html
Terrible deal. Both of them fucking suck and Milledge is going to come back to hurt us 20 times a year. Omar is a fuckin disaster. And now...we cant even go after a front-line starter because Gomez is going to need to start in RF.
Look at their stats. Scheinder hit .235!! Church hit .270 with 15 HR and 70 RBI's. Church is 29, Scheinder is 31. What a disaster.
where do i turn in my mets fan card i'm fucking done it's not even a fucking pitcher! so the mets weakened two positions, improved none and traded away their best young player FUCK
I really don't know what you guys are doing with that trade. Maybe you want a new catcher. That's fine, Schneider is a decent enough catcher. But did you really need to move L-Millz to do that?
