If Dolphins lose, they are 0-11. Not much else to talk about other than the following question. Is Ricky Williams playing tonight?
Ricky Williams is starting the game The Miami Herald reports that with Jesse Chatman's right ankle still causing him trouble, the Dolphins will start Ricky Williams at running back at Pittsburgh in Week 13. Williams was reinstated after being suspended 12 days ago and apparently is in good enough shape to run the ball for the Dolphins. Analysis: Williams' crazy legacy will grow if he does indeed start tonight -- and just imagine the fervor if he plays well. We don't expect Williams to be very effective as he'll be playing in his first NFL game in two years against third-best run defense in football at home. Keep him benched, but also keep him on your roster as it appears he'll play so long as he is healthy for the rest of the season. If you are counting on Williams tonight, check in with us an hour before kickoff for the final word on his status.
This should be an interesting game  With my luck, he will make me look like a fool and have a great game. I highly doubt it though, so I think I'm safe for laughing.
I actually hope Ricky runs all over the Steelers...I hate the Steelers, but not as much as the Dolphins. If the Dolphins win a few (hopefully not against us though), that will just give our draft picks only more value. I don't really care about this game, but I wouldn't mind seeing the Steelers lose two straight to bad teams. I want the Browns to win that division.
I h8 the Dolphins and would Love for them to go 0 for 2007 but if they win this game I would actually smirk because of my recent growth of hatred for the Steelers and how they get sucked off by the media. They are Over rated as is Big Ben and if they lose to the Dolphins I wouldn't mind @ all. So it's win win for Me!
It's raining pretty good there right now. The field is still covered. That should add another dynamic to this game.
These teams tend to play each other in rain. There was the game in 1989 which was played in a small pond. Then there was Ben Roethlisberger's first start in 2004. I was in the area for that game and was considering attending it, but didn't want to get stuck in a hurricane driving back to Key West.
And there is a brand new field just installed in the last 48 hours. Over top of the old field. It will be a nightmare for everyone.
Ricky isn't starting. It was just said on ESPN. Chatman is starting, but he's hurting, so Ricky will be playing at some point.
Was this after ESPN showed the ticker saying "BREAKING NEWS: R. Williams starts vs. Steelers" about a billion times? Stupid ESPN
Did you see that field?...LOL...it is 8 inches of pure mud. No length cleat will help. It's still covered but nobody is expecting it any better underneath and it's still raining like hell anyway.
I was really looking forward to this game.. hopefully the field won't ruin it. It sucks that Ricky has to make his debut on crappy wet turf against the Steelers; though it would be really nasty if he put on a show anyway.
There's going to be a lot of dropped passes, fumbles, poorly thrown passes, knee injuries, and ankle injuries in this one. This is one of the worst fields I have ever seen.
