It's better than anything I can do, but it's too grainy for my liking. I see where you were getting at. It's nice though.
Gm, your background is nice, but even better is the GM watermark. That's the shit. And Scikotics, I made your wallpaper my background, it for some reason fits very nicely with my random icon placement.
Well, that doesnt help.... I took out the KC and changed the background...nothing special but heres the new one...

I eagerly await some of the refinements that you are working on now and will prolly download them as well..... I wish to God I even knew where to begin to make something like that.....
haha, you are going to have to explain to me the rendering effects and what exactly they can do to a picture...like any noob to photoshop, Im learning as I go so some of the terminology may go right over my head...
its honestly not that hard...i felt the same way as you about 5 months ago, but here I am....once you get the basic idea of how to use it, its not that hard...but like anything else, I have to learn as I go... to be honest, I think my wallpaper needs a lot more done, but I pretty fond of my new avatar..
Good first try.. You need to practice cutting, it needs to be cleaner than your first try. Just keep practicing using the lasso and pen tools ubtil you get it. I'm also not crazy about your choice if filters for the background but that is just a matter of personal taste. Most importantly is you need to get better at cutting.
Beautiful. We are cracking new GFXers into TGG. Could use the competition for the end of the year award anyway. Not like Soss, GM or Walsh have a shot. :grin:
