    okay, just checked.

    Champ, your post numbers in this thread are #'s: 28, 45, 47, 49, 53, 57, 58, 61, 62, 65, 66, 68, 70, 72, 76, 78, 81.

in #58, you mention "the two Cincy receivers."

in every other post, you don't mention anyone else besides Moss, TO -- anyone else you mentioned (Rice, Maynard, Toon) don't play today.

so, now, who are gamebreakers in today's NFL?

i don't have such distaste for you, and i don't believe i ever said i do. if you think i said or implied that, quote me on it to prove it.

i just don't like when you go running your mouth thinking your opinion and predictions are always correct, but then you can't actually substantiate what you're saying.

most of the time i don't mind reading your posts, except when i have to decode them.

This thread started off with an important subject before being jacked....lets try to get things back on track shall we?

I do agree that another wr will be needed sometime in the future. I would like to believe that Stuckey can be the guy we need but with his injury history it stands to reason that we shouldn't put all our faith in him. Cotchery hasn't shown me enough for me to believe that he can step up to the plate as a legitimate no.1 one when coles is out...but its also not like our gameplan is geared towards getting him the ball so we still have some time to see just what he can do in this role.

The real xfactor is Brad Smith. Since the CS has soured on Jmac its been Brad Smith who has been on the receiving end of quite a few passes. He is has good height, makes plays on his feet and doubles as our trick wr. His only failure right now has been is inability to bring in that 'big time' catch, and I know it must be killing him to think about all the blown opportunities he has had this season.

Still, I believe he will use this as a motivating factor and come out of all this as a player we can learn to rely on. Tomorrow will be an excellent opportunity for him, seeing as Terrence Newman will most likely be guarding Jco that leaves Brad as the main recipient of a few big time balls.

Even if Brad pans out we still have the need for a burner at wr....this however isn't a really difficult need to fill (especially compared to some of our other needs like NT) so I'm hoping by the start of next year we can have a full compliment of wr's that KC can throw to.

^methinks j-slack may start opposite J-Co tomorrow. I do really hope that Mr. Gadget learns how to catch the ball. He is not polished in the least as a WR and it shows on a weekly basis. It'll be another year or two before we can count on him for anything resembling solid WR play. Not his fault, per se, just a QB learning WR.

Wallace Wright is a WR that is sitting on the bench who was drafted as a receiver who is a Receiver! He has been playing on the second team with Clemens all year! IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO PLAY!

I would be surprised if Jmac gets alot of balls his way...but I won't underestimate a Coaching Staff that starts Elam at safety ....

I'm hoping Brad learns the position as fast as Randle El did, and I don't think his recent case of the drops indicate him not being fit to play the position....at least thats what i hope.
