just got back myself...and it was unreal.
the parking lot felt like i was in pittsburgh...didn't see any jat fans tailgating. weird.
so f'ing happy to get the win. but i was afraid to laugh at them because there were so damn many of 'em! ha
they were poised to stick it in our faces and were kept quiet.
thank god for that run by leon.

it was bad but it wasnt 70-30. id say 50-50 is a safe estimate. i will say this though: unlike the dolphin, eagle, and patriot fans that are complete pieces of garbage (in general) when they come to our stadium, the majority of the pittsburgh fans were rooting for their team respectfully. id rather have them around than some jerkoff dolphin or pats fan any day

    Just back home...

More? It was something like 80% Steeler fans! Look, I went with Steeler fans, but at least I was there rooting for the Jets. No Jet fans wanted to take my extra tickets. It was like being at Heinz Field today.

As far as the quiet after the game, everyone was stunned for different reasons. The Steelers fans had nothing to ride us about and we didn't know what to do after an upset win. It was strange.

Let's Go Jets! Play for pride.

Give me a friggin break, I was at the game and there were not more Steeler fans than Jet fans. They made up 25% of the crowd at most. Were they louder than Jets fans? Oh, yeah. They put us to shame in the noise department. And when they waved those ridiculous towels around it made it look like the stands were full of them.

When the Jets won the toss for OT i wasnt sure if we actually won it or the steelers. There were wayyyy to many steelers fans. I have to admit im a season ticket holder and actually had a buyer for the tickets he bailed on me last min. Im glad i went.

Dude are you sure you were at the game. It felt 60/40 steeler fans. Everytime jets had 3rd down it got loud and those shitty towels came out.

I'd say 50/50 jets/steelers fans today. A total disgrace. Luckily we played well enough where it was still fun to cheer and get the best of it after the game was over.

Oh and we stole a towel from one of those assholes on the way out.

    A disgrace?

The only thing that's a disgrace is a 1-8 record.

If you are a season ticket holder and your team is guarenteed to miss the playoffs, you sell your tickets to whoever will take them.

Why go to a game that means nothing? Better to sit at home, sell your tickets to a fan of the opposing team, and show the team that 1-8 is not gonna cut it.

Maybe after today's win, they'll get some more Jets fans in the seats next time around.

I agree. I paid for my tickets if i choose to sell them and stay home to show JETS MANAG THAT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH then so be it. Maybe when the browns come in to play and they see 50k seats empty they will finally open their eyes and wallet.

Next time you sell your tickets...

HOW ABOUT YOU TRY TO SELL THEM TO OTHER JETS FANS

The words "home team" meant absolutely NOTHING today. If we didn't win this thread would have been full of expletives and dead babies.

Wait so now im supposed to sell my tickets to who you feel i should??? rigggggggggghttttttt got ya. When i post my tickets on stub hub or ebay i could care less who buys them as long as i get the price im asking for! And do you really think any serious level headed JET FAN would buy tickets to see a 1-8 team? What planet do u live on? I had a buyer for today, the dude bailed on me last minute so i ended up going to the game. Badger are you a season ticket holder?????

no badger you are more than right. I went there today expecting a 30% steelers turnout and it was really hard to find a jets fan in the area around me. this was the first game I got to goto today with my dad and he was disgraced as well. I got there 2 hours before and there was only steeler fans everywhere I could see. OUR INTRODUCTIONS I COULDNT EVEN TELL WHO WAS HOME! when drob i believe it was made the sack in OT i was taking a sip of my beer and i didnt hear anything from the crowd but the play ended I asked what happened because at any other game I would have expected a ridiculous roar from the crowd. I guess it happens cause i hear pittsburgh travels well but has it been like this all season?

    And where was Fireman Ed?

I can't and won't defend it, but I'll take a stab at explaining it. I'm thinking all the delicate daisies that couldn't handle the idea of sitting in the cold in a dismal year put up their tickets on stub hub and ebay, and Steelers fans jumped at the opportunity. Not many OTHER Jets fans at 1-8 are going to fall all over themselves to snap them up, because, well, er, um, er. Aside from that factor, I think a good portion of Jets tickets ownership are for 'business', and that hurts us, too.

I readily admit that I've left early in disgust many times this year, but I've explained why and I'm sticking by it. Today the Jets showed up to play. So I showed up to stay. And I did. I will say it was awfully sweet seeing all those Spittsburgh fans looking like a truck ran over their puppy, though. The more the merrier. Er, you know what I mean.

Oh, and you can thank my Kerry Rhodes jersey for the win. It's the first time I wore it. You see how it all turned out.

Hey, it's Thanksgiving week and all the Steelers fans were traveling south to their trailer park families in North Carolina for the holidays and just made a detour thru the Meadowlands.

Fireman Ed supposedly hurt himself and is out for the year. No im not joking! I also heard somewhere he has beef with jets manag. Not sure on the details but i think it had something to do with the west side stadium. I could be wrong. Yes Pittsburgh fans travel good and as the season went down the drain more and more fans stopped coming, giving way to opp. fans to come.

THen another stood up and goes please be quiet so we can call our signals on offense. I thought that was pretty damn ridiculous

    Selling Tickets

To those of you who feel selling your tickets are wrong, I have to disgree. I tried selling my tickets to todays game had a buyer that bailed on me and so i went. If he didnt i would have been more then happy to sell my tickets!!! Why you ask? Well, do they deserve my support i ask!!!! 1-8 (2-8 now) is not cutting it.

For those of you who make a stink about selling tickets. Are you season ticket holders yourself? If not then if it werent for people like me you guys wouldnt be going to games right? I mean if all season ticket holders attended the games no tickets would be for sale right? Anyway back to the real world. I waited 11 years for my tickets. I pay for my tickets and in the future when they build a new stadium i will OWN MY SEATS (due to future PSL's on the way) which gives me the right to do whatever i want with my seats. If we want the front office to take notice and not show up or sell our seats to away fans then so be it. Maybe Woody will finally wake up and understand that the losing is not acceptable.

To Jet fans who are not season ticket holders and want to keep a "home field" advantage Be my guest and buy tickets if your not season ticket holders. Put your name on the season ticket waiting list and that will give you the option to purchase tickets from current season ticket holders at face or slightly above face.. There are 1630 tickets avaible for the next home game vs the browns. And 2092 tickets for the Chiefs game.
