Our blitz package today made the Steelers' OL focus on a lot more than just the NT....

They tried to isolate him on Faneca, and Robertson just dominated him.... It was shades of 2004, when Bill Cowher said that Robertson was the best DT theyd played against all season

Bowens and Ellis getting outsdie pressure left D-rob 1 on 1 inside often, and he played well.

The entire defense stepped up. Players were put in different positions, and in the poistion to make plays.

i don't knwo what caused the change, but it looked great.

While acknowledging that he had a great game today, how about we now all admit that this "Out of position" crap is a bunch of BS, and that he really has sucked ass all season?

How about we admit that he finally got some help today and just played like he normally does. His sacks came when he actually got a 1v1.

the out of position may be true, they moved guys around, put more size up front, moved ellis to linebacker and it worked

the d changes were amazing, lets see if we can play just that well in the coming weeks as well. The changes confounded the Steelers and we played amazing, if the D plays this well for the remainder of the season, Sutton may keep his job after all. And that is a big IF

What are you talking about? Robertson was clearly playing at different spots today. And when D-Rob was at NT we had at least 5 players rushing the QB.

They clearly moved D-Rob around and didnt use him at NT all game.

Exactly, D-Rob does what he can. He's not a NT, and never was, its not his fault Mangini continues to play him at NT when he is 30-40 pounds undersized.

For the record, Robertson is as good as I've seen in a long time at beating a block, 1 on 1....

He put a swim move on All-Pro Allan Faneca today on one of his sacks that was as fast and flawless as I've ever seen...

he was definitely out at de quite a bit today, ellis was a monster out of the lb position as well.

i was definitely excited about the game today, even though it could have been lost as easily as won it was still the best game to watch ive seen all year.

not that there werent a buttload of negative things that still need to be worked on.

Sutton is DONE (HOPEFULLY) after this season, I think DRob in the 3 - 4 is more suited for DE than NT, one on one u can't deal with his quickness but with Mangini taking over the defensive play calling, it was a better coached defensive game.

Rothlesberger looked confused all day, 7 SACKS!!!??? WOW!!
