Reggie Bush on our O would also rack up neg yards as well.
Whos going to be the better back long term? Bush or Leon? It should be Bush , alot of teams are keying in on him aware of of what he can do. Leon is still hot and cold and alot of thats not his fault. Leon is quicker and shiftier , but Bush has the moves and the ability to see the whole field.

Yeah...he ges negative yards on the Saints offense too sometimes, but not on almost every play. I was just upset that this guy thinks Leon Washington is on the same level as Reggie Bush, when he's not even close. You have to look at potential with these young players and Bush has the most out of anyone in a long time, if he can figure out how to play in the NFL.

Leon seems to either go negative or get under three yards when he rushes the ball and you can't blame it ALL on the o-line because the Saints o-line is is in the same shape as ours because they are without Jamaal Brown. At least Bush can bounce it outside and break a few tackles...it seems like he's running for a purpose now that McCalister is out. He's also WAY more versatile than Leon Washington.

As GM said Production > Hype...well Bush has both. He's averaging 80+ total yards a game, and that number is only going to climb for the rest of the season, now that he's the feature back.

it was always going to be hard for Bush coming into the NFL with the well deserved hype that he got. Once he figures it out....watch out NFL! Hes the most exciting player in years to come into the NFL , HOF? How guarenteed do you want

There goes another option. I liked Tutt in there and would have liked to have seen some pounding , north south from him and TJ. Too bad.

Worthless as a running back? You have got to be kidding me LOL! How in the hell do you know what ANY of our RBs potential is? OUR RUNNING SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW FOR A RUNNING GAME! It has been this way since C. Martin and Vinny were features on the team. None of you should be passing judgemnt on Leon or Jones for that matter. You can't tell what they could do since we have never seen them running behind a line that actually blocks and creates forward push from the LOS.

These apponants have been STACKING the line for YEARS now. There is no where to run. And when Leon or Jones has a semi decent game it is a freaking miracle! It is like they have to not only get lucky, but have the best game of their lives in order to be semi productive behind the Oline.

It is a system that makes a running game folks. You plug in Leon and Jones to a good run system with a solid Oline and we will have a freaking FIERCE running attack. Currently our line gets BLOWN off the LOS and has 0 push.
