Well he's an alumnus, I'm pretty sure that if he would've gone to MSU that they wouldn't turn his money away. The guy pretty much paid for the football stadium and basketball arena out of his own pocket.
Wow. Tim Tebow has now become the Heisman favorite...due to injury. Hopefully Jonathan Stewart will have a big second half and become a Heisman contender. He's going to be a Top 15 pick. The guy's 230 pounds and he supposedly runs a 4.34.
 right, a big second half makes him a Heisman contender. He's had a good season, but he's not a Heisman contender. I hope Tebow wins it and overcomes the underclassman bias.
If Jonathan Stewart runs well in the 2nd half and wins Oregon the game...he could make a big name for himself. It looks like Dixon messed up his knee, so he could be out for a while. If Stewart puts the Ducks on his back and they run the table, he should be in the Top 5 for the Heisman. Dixon isn't doing it alone, he just gets all the credit because he's the QB.
Link This time, Dixon out for season The Ducks quarterback will undergo surgery for a torn left knee ligament suffered two weeks ago TUCSON, Ariz. -- When Dennis Dixon's left knee buckled Thursday night, ending his college career, only he and his family and his coaches knew what had happened. Dixon had a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but he did not suffer the injury on that first-quarter play. He had torn it on a similar move 12 days earlier, against Arizona State. After that game, and after discussing his short- and long-term future with those closest to him, he decided to try to play with a completely torn ACL. "Dennis asked of us, on behalf of himself and his family, to not let anybody know -- he wanted to continue to try to play," Oregon coach Mike Bellotti said of Dixon, who has rehabbed the knee since the ASU game and wore a brace Thursday night. "But he did feel some instability, obviously, on the play in question -- that was the concern that we had
Dissapointiing for Dixon. so does Dixon move on to pro baseball or pro football when he graduates college?
Most likely baseball, maybe he'll go play in the Arena Football League though...I don't think he's got what it takes to be an NFL QB/WR.
