They're all good, but the Wii has a lot of potential if it returns to its original "take the market by storm" form.
I don't believe it has slowed down, it's just that Xbox 360 went up from Halo 3 for the past 2 months. It will go back down soon.
the Wii hasn't lived up to it's hype in regards to motion control changing gaming, and without that the Wii is nothing more than a Gamecube. and the 360 is plagued by its poor construction and problems. the PS2 is 7 years old and is still selling, and the PS3 is picking up steam with its price drop. I think the PS3 is poised for the most long term success, and Sony is interested in a lifecycle comperable to the PS2. of course I own a PS3 and I could just be biased because I have a vested interest in its success, but I believe it.
I agree with your assessment except the fact that you totally disregarded the online community which is LOCKED DOWN by the 360. I'll get a PS3 once I see a significant improvement on their online service. I have been waiting for blu-ray for years so I'm just looking for an excuse for it but AORN, There isn't enough on the plate yet....
I just bought the XBox 360 and it makes an awful lot of buzzing, whirring, and other computer-like sounds. Is that normal?
Clearly the Wii was not designed to compete directly with either the 360 or PS3. So, the Wii is either a complimentary system for avid gamers or a nice machine for nubs. Due to Microsofts difficulty in garnering suport from Japan, and due to the overall sophistication of the PS3, I think the PS3 will be in control 3 years down.
the Wii is absolute garbage... the PS3 and 360 will probably be neck and neck, depending on who has the better games in 3 years
The Wii won't have GTA IV, and the college football and Madden games aren't the same on the Wii as they are on 360 and PS3. These games will push 360 and PS3 over the top because it will have a bigger market. Wii will make a ton of money though because it appeals to small children, and drunk college kids.
Between me and my friend we have all 3. It's easily a race between the 360 and the Wii. The PS3 is out of the discussion entirely. It sucks. It depends on what you want, I'm more of a gamer so I like the 360 but when I just want to have fun, Wii is the way to go. In the end, I think 360 will win.
never gonna happen. None of the GTA's were released for a nintendo system. And there is no way the wii can handle GTA IV. Sorry to burst your bubble.
played all 3, the PS3 is the only one I would own. My brother had a 360, and its very good, but the preference of the PS3 controller and the way it is set up makes the PS3 my choice. Great system.
lol add-ons don't win console wars, just name 1 company that won a console war just based on an add-on.
