    Didn't get a chance to see him last night. Any commments on how he played.

    wrong man for our style. too small to be an end, too slow to stand up.

    It's not that i dont think he could be successful in a 3-4 scheme. I just dont think he's the right guy, right now. He'll shoot gaps and make some plays..but wont hold up to the power running game or remain stout. Don't we already have that guy in D rob?

    Considering his salary/production, I'd venture to guess that DRob's days in a Jets uniform are numbered.

    from what ive read hes supposed to be a great fit for the 3-4

    His natural playing weight is around 265, he is too small. Now if we were in the 4-3 that would be a different story.

    I am still not sold on Long...I don't think we can afford to get a guy who is undersized for our defense.

    And from the sounds of it...his playing weight is AT LEAST under 275 pounds...

    I think they will have a tough time passing on Calaias Campbell...that is a big DE. 6'7" 285 pounds.

    I would much rather have Campbell or McFadden...
