Anyone else pumped? I was actually at Best Buy today and they had the demo for it set up. I was playing the drums... and was having a blast. Played In Bloom, Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Black Hole Sun, etc... a few more. If you see one of these set up definitely stop and give it a play. Can't wait for the full game.

Guitar Hero is a great game, especially when you're drunk. This Rock Band game looks like an incredible waste of money.
I'll do the same thing I did with Guitar hero, let my friends get the game and all the shit you need for it, and just show up unnounced and drunk.
It does have a way to play the cowbell. Just not an actual cowbell controller I don't think. Still hilarious though that they thought of that. I placed a few pre-orders today for this. There was mention during EA games earnings call that they would not be able to produce enough to satisfy demand before the Holidays, so everyone be sure you have your preorders in if you hope on getting one before 2008. Look like it could be another Nintendo Wii situation.
Gamestop by me already gave away their 10 (!) allotted preorders. Can't preorder at Best Buy. I did mine through Amazon and took the hit for shipping. Also Circuitcity.com & toysrus.com have them.
Don't understand the whole pre order thing....Not once have I ever seen a game that was sold out in every store....maybe if you live in a very small town. Good ol' Gamestop
I guess it requires clarification. The GAME will be available everywhere. The bundle with the instruments that actually makes the game worth anything is going to be the hard part to find. They can't mass produce all of those in time to keep up with demand. It's going to be another nightmare for parents trying to get this for their kids. And also a bunch of pissed off kids on xmas with only the game under the tree with no instruments.
Thanks for the clarification....So you're able to play this game with just a controller? or you need the instrument? Never play it before so I don't know all the details.
If it's the same as Guitar Hero you technically can. It's just not nearly as fun. This bundle will come with a new Guitar Hero type guitar, a mini electronic-type drum set and a microphone.
