i think the pats are really trying to get that perfect season, and doing it so that statistically they would be better than the fish. and would want to say they are the better undefeated team. my thinking because of what they did to the skins and what they continue to do. they have accomplished alot already, so bb needs to give new goals for the team and one of the last goals left for him to motivate that team for another streak is to take that undefeated season, and be better than the fish. not that they need motivating because they are an excellent team but because that defense of theirs is getting old fast, and this year may be the last year they have that type of defense.
Trust me, the undefeated record is not that important to him....he wants the Lombardi. An undefeated season without the trophy is a failure.
An undefeated season without the trophy? How is that possible? Unless you are only counting regular season.
That's what I meant. I actaully wouldn't mind if the Pats lose 1 in the regular season, just so we don't have to listen to this stuff all year, and rest our guys before the playoffs.
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha Tommy Greatness checking in on how things are going in Jet and Yankee land? So how is everything ? hahahahahahahahahahaha Come watch greatness and get prepared for your pasting in Foxboro.
Sure, pour salt in an open wound. Remember what goes around comes around. I think you have our number this year - I don't think it is debatable at this point. I am not saying that next year we will romp, but I do think our matches will tighten up; win or lose.
If the game remains in reach for the jets, don't do anything rash.....but if the game is out of reach, I'd have every Jet blitz and continue even after Brady has thrown the ball....I want to see Brady's punkass on the ground....buried and unable to get up. ats_suck:
We have our share of maroons, no doubt. We are not exclusive in that regard, but they tend to hide when their team sucks, and come out like cockroaches when their team is doing well.
You're joking, right? The most self-important, egomaniacal HC in the league doesn't care about breaking a storied and long-standing record held by a division rival and achieved by a former HC that just blasted Belichick in the media for cheating? I doubt there is anything more important to him right now than having a perfect season. He proved that by cheating in a game he didn't have to. Belichick will do anything he has to in order to break that record. Even if it means running the score up at the end of every game to avoid any 4th quarter heroics.
I didn't say he wouldn't try. He will try to go undefeated, of course. I'm just saying the Lombardi trophy is more important to him. As for running up the score, screw them. Miami ran over us 52-0 in their undefeated season. I saw Pittsburgh put Roethlisberger back into a 38-7 game after he had been hurt, nooone complains. In joe Gibb's words "It's not their job to stop their offense son, it's yours."
Stop jumping at shadows, I honestly don't care about how many points the Pats put on the board, if they win that's bad enough for me. And I think it's less about running up the score than what adjustments they are making at halftime and how they are making them.
Let's all just remember that MUD RING around Brady's ass when we played them there last year...............it ain't over YET folks!
Lets see if his name is BradytoMoss my guess is he only became a Pats fan in 2001. You still have that Rams jacket you bought in 2000? How's that Elway jersey hanging in your closet and I'm sure your Aikman jersey has some holes in it by now. Get the fuck out of here if your only here to be a dickless asshole on here.
Remember rule #5 on how to be an unsufferable dickhead of a Boston fan... 5. Be sure to boast about all the hot chicks Tom Brady gets to nail. Because that?s totally something for YOU to brag about.
