I always like seeing the one where they're stuck at that party on the island because they have no ride. Michael Chiklis is the guy that owns the house, and it's funny seeing him in that role compared to the sort of character he plays on The Shield.

the best putty episode is the one where he's constantly fighting with elaine over the fact that he's religious. he tells elaine to go and take the neighbors paper and when she asks him why he doesn't do it "sorry, thou shall not steal"

the candy lineup with george is another great episode. "oh no, everyone knows that twix is the only candy with the cookie crunch"

I agree. The delivery of his lines would always crack me up.

George's parents were also the best of the supporting cast, IMO

     High Five!

That was one of the funniest episodes, easily.... With the candy-line up, and Putty's ridiculousness as a salesman....

I think my favorite is "The Bet"
"Are you master of your domain?"
    "I'm queen of the castle"

Another one is when Jerry buys his dad a caddy and the whole retirement community thinks dad stole the money to buy it.

Two great Kramer moments that I love:

In the one where Jerry gets hockey tickets, but refuses to say thank you a second time, Kramer says, "Do you want to live in a society? Because if you don't, you can just in your car and move to the east side!"

Also, his diatribe about how getting married and raising kids is like being in prison. "And you can forget about watching TV while you're eating dinner!"

My favorite is the one with Tony, the "mimbo," when George is all excited he has a cool friend. It is the same episode where Jerry is dating the phone sex girl who Kramer calls and the "can't spare a square" bathroom seens with Elaine.

Which I guess is why the show went to shit. To appease the masses. If anything, it was the popularity of Kramer that brought the show down. He was supposed to show up for like 2 minutes with a quick joke but really the show was supposed to be all George and Jerry.

I mean, the candy line up episode? That episode SUCKED!

Next thing, someone's gonna say how "classic" the Puerto Rican Day Parade episode was.

Does no one else share my love for the first four seasons?

Sure, along with the last 5 seasons. There were some clunkers in the later seasons but the first couple seasons are pretty dodgy as well. I realize it's trendy and cool to bash a show after it becomes popular and say you only liked the older episodes before they like, sold out man but Seinfeld was funny all the way till the show ended.

The first five seasons is an exaggeration. The show actually jumped the shark, for me, when Larry David left the show. His last episode was the one where George's fiance, Susan, dies.

There was definitely some clever and funny writing in the later years. But the show became something else. It was supposed to be a show about people talking where nothing really happened. It turned into a parody of itself. Jerry stopped being the straight man and started being a cartoon character. George stopped being whiney and neurotic and became extremely angry and stupid. Kramer went from seeming like he knew something no one else does to seeming like a moron. And Elaine I guess is actually the exception cuz they did a better job of dealing with her chracter as the show went on.

My point is, the show was at its best when it was just Jerry and George sitting at the diner talking. The show lost that aspect in its later years.

One of the best and underrated episodes of all time.

George: So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys, I
was terrified! But I pressed on and as I made my way passed the
breakers a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine
intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you Jerry
at that moment I was a marine biologist!

George: The sea was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to
    return soup at a deli!

George: I got about fifty-feet out and then suddenly the great beast
appeared before me. I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a
foot. As if sensing my presence he gave out a big bellow. I said,
"Easy big fella!" And then as I watched him struggling I realized
something was obstructing his breathing. From where I was standing
I could see directly into the eye of the great fish!

    Jerry: Mammal.

    George: Whatever.

George: Then from out of nowhere a huge title wave lifted, tossed like a
quark and I found myself on top of him face to face with the
blow-hole. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on
top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and
    pulled out the obstruction!

(George pulls out of the inside pocket a golf ball)

Kramer: What is that a Titleist? A hole in one eh.
