NT- Red Bryant from Texas A&M looks like someone who is ready to come in and stop the run. 6-5, 328 lb kid who is a leader. He is also intelligent, and looks like a Mangini Guy with the will to kill. Very Revis and Harris like. What do you all think?

Only problem-- Knee Surgery, but with today's medical technology i feel it wont be a big issue.

Bryant would be a great help to this defense. The jets could probably get him in late 2nd round to early 3rd

If he's a hard worker, the knee surgery won't be an issue.

He's on the radar but a lot can happen between now and April.

    Ideal size, though.

I don't get it... We draft Brick at 4 and don't consider Mcneil do to injury concerns... Mcneil turns out to be THE BEAST...

But, we draft Vilma with a Knee condition and We sell the farm for DROB with a known knee condition....

These guys trumpet Character and Health but, kinda miss the boat when it suits them....

Maybe we need a better medical staff????

And it seems to be like a lot of the pot smokers turn out OK - I wouldn't cross a person off the list cuz they toked a J at 17 years old.

McNeil is a beast now, yes, but one setback and he could be in big trouble. You have to look at long term.

I don't want another NT with bad knees.

If we could get Chris Long in the first round and this guy in the third our defense might start showing some life.

Agree with Don here, i think Long and Bryant can help to revamp our messed up d-line. depends on what Bryant did to his knees. ACL? MCL? or something completely different??

True Mcneil is a BEAST, BUT DBRICK is a beast as well.

I love Bryant, I said it earlier in the year this guy is going to be our nose tackle. He is a hard worker and I would be shocked if he is not drafted by the Jets.
