No doubt in my mind that Chad could help half of the teams in the NFL right now at QB...questions is - where is our beloved Chadster going to end up with a starting job?

He’ll be starting a new career – he blows.

I do not think he will go into training camp as any team's clear-cut starter at QB.

you guys are crazy to think CP sucks. he has been a Jet his entire career...with not the best supporting casts. I guarantee if you put CP on a team like the Steelers, Bears, the Pats, or even the damn Bills then you have solid winning team and CP excels. The guy is a smart, accurate, and effective QB with great leadership.

That being said, I'm ready for Kellen Clemens as far as my NYJets go!

2006 Pennington could start for a few teams in the NFL. 2007 Pennington could start for Miami and that is probably it.

if KC doesn't make a play for him with their QB situation, the rest of the league will take notice and pass on him too. I say Brady's back up in NE.

When Trent Green went down the Phins pretty much announced that they were in full-on rebuilding mode. With Cleo Lemon and Beck on the roster, I doubt Chad would get a start with them. They are going young.

I really hope Chad ends up in Minnesota. The Vikings run a West Coast offense with Brian Childress and that is where Chad's strength is at. Minnesota has a solid running game with Petereson and Taylor and a solid defense. Their special teams is decent but their quarterback play is horrible right now. Chad could go there next year and start for a year or two and give way to Tavaris when ready.

I do not believe he has value as a starting QB in the NFL at this point. I'm guessing he winds up in the NFC in a co-competitive position with somebody like Tarvaris Jackson or Alex Smith and reaffirms that he is finished there.

Chad's arm has destroyed his decision-making process and he's no longer a good QB. Can he make a throw with accuracy? Of course. Can he do it for effect more than occasionally? No. There are a lot of guys who can check down and complete the kind of passes that Chad completes 9 times out of 10. Most of them choose not too because they know that checking down ALL the time is a ticket out of the NFL.

Never. Chad in the windy city in December? Think about it. You might as well not have a QB in that scenario.

They don't have a QB, as bad as Chad has been he is still better than Griese and Grossman even with his weak arm.

Not with a frigid 25 mph wind coming out of the endzone he's not. Backwards passing is a bad thing in the NFL.

The Meadowlands hasn't been exactly a tropical paradise either, you are overrating the effect of the wind and drastically underrating how bad the Bears QBs are

I'd like to see him hang it up and stay here in some kind of coaching capacity.

True i think he sucks, but i still love the big hick.
