I love this kid Revis. He's a cover corner who has gotten closer and closer to the ball every pass in his direction throughout the year. He got his first interception last week against the Bengals by ripping the ball out of a receiver's hands. He got his third interception this week by doing the same thing to Lee Evans. (Replay and Elam withstanding, respectively, of course:grin: ) He tackles well. Has been all season. Leads our team. AND THE GUY BLITZES LIKE LIGHTNING! Did anyone else catch that? I must have seen him rushing out of the nickel ten times yesterday! No sacks, ok, but pressure is the name of the game, folks! Trouble is, he has been getting RAPED by the officials. He tapped Edwards yesterday and got flagged for Roughing. And I've seen him interfere with a receiver TWICE this season, only twice, and once was just because he didn't flip his head around quick enough. All other pass interference calls have been utterly PHANTOM. He got whistled last week when his elbow grazed Houshmandzadeh (CBS didn't show the replay, but the Solomon Eagle woulda been all over that shit if they could have analyzed it.) Point is, most young corners FLIP OUT when they're getting phantom flags. Not this cat. Calm, cool and collected. Keep learning... Get an inch closer to that ball... The pick-six is coming folks, mark my words... Good pick, Manenbaum.
For a rookie to get exposed as seldom as Revis has on a Defense that sucks as bad as the Jets' does, that's saying something. I agree, he looks like a pretty solid pick. I also like that kid Ross on the Giants.
I dont think a Vilma clone is what we needed on defense... welcome back tbruner, hopefully you learned your lesson and your visit here will be longer then last time...ya never know

I'm liking Revis alot. One thing noone can deny about our current CS is they know how to draft. Harris and Revis were pretty much the only bright spots in Sunday's game. Cheers to Revis' first INT hopefully the first of many.
