i would love Long and Groves in the first, that alone makes this a great draft. I still dont think WR should be something for us to grab earlier than round 4. Give me Red Bryant over Manningham and im ecstatic. (Idk if maybe you had Bryant going to a team picking before the Jets in Rd. 2)

I'm guessing we made a trade with the cowboys?

Yeah, why do all of you think we have two first rounders? We didn't get the patriots #32, they simply forfeited it. Additionally, if you're going to include a trade in your mock off seasons, please note it so we know and don't think you're a shmuck.

Ok i know we didnt get the 1st from the patriots as someone said before we traded with the cowboys who grab darren mcfadden.
The trade is our 1st for their 2 first and a third.

I don't understand why everybody thinks the Cowboys are gonna want to trade 2 or 3 of thier high picks for McFadden. They have two great RBs in Marion Barber and Julius Jones. And I know Jones is a free agent, but they could still re-sign him, and they have bigger needs than a RB consider they have Barber for at least a few more years. Why would they be so willing to trade their future for a RB that would probably not even start?

Jerry Jones loves big names -- I can see him making a blockbuster trade to bring in McFadden...they like using 2 backs in their system, so one of the two, most likely Julius Jones, will be released.

They dont have alot of needs and why wouldnt u want to draft the best player in the draft.Julius jones isnt gonna want to resign with barber stealing all of his carries and after that barber is the only proven rb in dallas if he get hurt thye are fucked.Mcfadden can make the dallas offense that much better, so that is reason they would do that.
I mean whats the point of having alot of picks if u dont have alot of needs thats why the patriots seem to always trade their picks in the draft.

If the cowboys get McFadden, it'll be like Irvin-Aikmen-Smith all over again. I think they'd be willing to make the trade.

How come the Jets can't just take the best player in the draft........... I hope they do if they get the chance.

Well, it's still very early, but I'm pretty sure most will agree that McFadden is the #1 player in this draft.

It's just that the teams in front of the Jets right now (with the exception of the Falcons, but they HAVE to nab a QB in the first) have young RBs that were recently drafted in the first.
