That was a VERY stupid call...I don't care if he has balls. The LSU fans would've cut them off if that ball wouldn't have been caught. I know field goals aren't automatic, but one in that situation still would've won the game, and it was the SMART decision. His stupidity will catch up with him sooner than later.
http://www.bcsfootball.org/bcsfootball/ Top 5 BCS 1. Ohio St. .9759 2. Boston College .9501(#1 on the comps lol) 3. LSU .9114 4. Arizona St. .7629 5. Oregon .7623
Boston College will drop this week as Virginia Tech is going to kill the Eagles. A test for the Sun Devils this week, although as somebody that has to sit through the Las Vegas Bowl I'm excited that I could get USC, ASU, Cal, Oregon or UCLA although I'd rather not see the Bruins.
Fresno State is back...and if they win against Boise State on Friday, they should sneak into the top 25. They won't be making a BCS run this season, unless something crazy happens, but next year, they will be for real and no one should overlook them.
How? Just an FYI the only team to beat VT in Blacksburg on Thursday has been BC and they did it twice already(last year BTW). I don't get why this game is a lock for VT, BC is the superior team this year and they'll show it on Thursday.
Last year the game was in Chestnut Hill. The 1995 game was in Blacksburg, however. WVU beat VT in Blacksburg on a Wednesday night in 2002. But Wednesday is not Thursday, so I guess it doesn't count.
I'll bet you a toon sig against a pool sig of your choice thats not the case. Even when BC beat VT , people will still not give credit.
Two weeks ago, I was sure we would beat the Eagles. Now, I'm not sure I would bet on it, but I still expect it. A couple key injuries put Vince Hall out, Tyrod Taylor questionable and Cam Martin probably out. Virginia Tech's loss last year was as much to do with our team melting down than it did with Boston College's talent. Of course 2005 wasn't as fun for BC.
its almost a lose-lose because the ACC is not the SEC. One top ranked team SEC loses to another highly ranked SEC teams and "both teams are really good", if BC loses to VT than BC was overrated and VT gets no respect, if BC beats VT than VT was overrated and BC still hasn't proved themselves. Unless you are in the SEC than a win/loss doesn't prove you are a good team or not, only if you are overrated or your opponent is. Kentucky beats LSU who beats Florida who beats Kentucky, and all three are "very good teams" Hypothetically speaking VT beats BC who beats GT who beats VT, and they all suck
VaTech spanked him for 57 minutes, badly...He looked horrible... Then it just fell apart. Sucks to be a Hokie.
The Computers are sure not dropping BC from #1 after this one and they might steal some votes from Ohio St., might for the haters might.
Look at the big prognosticator. Oh wait, you didn't pipe up with predictions until after the game. hmy:
