I said it last week and the week before and I will say it again. Without Moss that Pats are anything but unbeatable. He stretches defenses out so far that he adds a new dimension to the game when used properly. The Pats must be thanking their lucky stars that Rhodes was coaching the Raiders.

i hate the patriots a lot, that being said-they won 3 superbowls without moss, as a matter of fact they did it without a true #1, taking away moss doesnt make them vulnerable, switching their oline with our does lol

Sad as it may be for Bills fans, Lee Evans actually managing to get over 200 yards with the QBs that have been throwing to him is somewhat impressive.

    Anyway, here's my list:

QB: Kellen Clemens - As pathetic as it sounds, this relatively unknown backup is probably far superior than the other choices (Pennington, Losman, Edwards, Lemon).

RB: Ronnie Brown - Not a bad list to choose from actually.

WR: Laveranues Coles - Jerricho Cotchery - Lee Evans

TE: Chris Baker - Seriously underused. =(

OL: Peters - Dockery - Mangold - Moore - Shelton - Too be honest, I don't know much about the Bills and Fins lineman. All I know is that I'd rather have anybody starting over the Jets RT at this point.

    --

DL: Kelsay - Tripplett - DRob - Taylor
LB: Porter - Thomas - Harris
CB: Revis - Dyson (Revis get a lot of shit, due to BS penalty calls, but he's got talent. I can't really recall any other good CBs in the AFCE either.)
    S: Rhodes - Whitner

    P: Graham
    K: Feely

...In other words, they'd get owned, easily.

Their run D is elite, their pass D is vulnerable and probably their only weakness, Chad was able to move on them for a couple of drives, with their run D they can outscore people at will, since their collection of WRs along with Brady is nearly impossible to stop

I don't think their run D is as good as the numbers make it out to be...

Like I said, they're always playing with a substantial lead, so their opponents rarely get an opportunity to establish a real running game....

kelsay over aaron schobel-no way, dyson over terrance mcgee-i dont think so, and david harris over vilma or zach thomas???i dont see it, alson bryan thomas over joey porter or pouslvsky is a huge stretch, also moorman is one of the elite punters in the league, grahm is good tho so i can live with ur choice there

Try this. Make an ALL-NFL team and it would still lose to these pats.

    Manning
    LT
    TO
    Chad Johnson
    Steve Smith
    Great O Line

    Ed Reed
    Polamalu
    Champ Bailey

    Merriman
    etc
    etc
    etc

Would still prob lose to Bellichick and Patriots (coaching + chemistry)

No I seriously doubt that, they've always had an excellent run D just because they have a huge lead that wouldn't change things, their front 3 ranks up with Pittsburgh as the best in the lead and their linebackers has always been at the top of the league as well, their secondary behind Samuel is meh, but with the rest of their defense it doesn't mean much especially for run D

I just don't believe that.... Other than Wilfork (which makes a big difference), I think the middle of their linebacking corps is mediocre....

No matter who they have in there at ILB, there is an issue....

Brushchi, Seau and Vrabel are both past their primes, and not all that physically gifted to begin with... They bring savvy to the D, but not a substantial amount of physical talent....

Thomas and Colvin both get occasional reps on the inside, but neither of them, by my estimation, is capable of being a very effective run-stopper between the Gs.....

I think if you can get a good double team on Wilfork, you could probably have a pretty good inside running game against New England...

Of course, when you're down 42-7 at half-time, that opportunity never presents itself

They didn't win shit last season, or the year before that. And as much as Adalius Thomas is playing well, he is definitely not the difference.

I probably should've clarified that I meant ZACH Thomas there, not BT. It feels weird to have Vilma anywhere outside MLB (I remember him there a bit in his rookie season, I think), so I just typed in Harris, who I'm quickly warming up to. Also, I never had BT over Porter in the first place...in fact, BT isn't listed there at all.

But yeah, I'll admit the team I came up with is crap, but I couldn't really recall the Bills and Fins roster off the top of my head.

Too many Jets on that list, and the WRs would be Coles, Lee Evans, Ted Ginn JR, and Jerricho

ANd there's gotta be a better RG than Moore.

    ANyways, you are probably right...

What's really scary is that if the Pats win 3 more games, they will win the division. We're barely half way through the season and they have the division locked up.
