If your player is on IR, you can put your player on the IR list and be able to pick up another player without having to cut a player

That's not entirely true. If your player has a certain injury grade, I think doubtful maybe? you can put him on IR and pick another player in his spot. I have two players on it now that aren't officially on IR. Basically it is a convention to circumvent the rules regarding the amount of players allowed at each position. For instance, if we can have 3 RBs on the roster, there is no way I am cutting Stephen Jackson to pick up a one or two week starter. So I put Jackson on IR and grabbed someone for the short term.

That is why I said if the player is on IR, this will only work if the player is listed as out for that week or is on the IR

I don't know if people have noticed this yet but ESPN gives us free stat tracking during the games, I noticed it a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted to let people know in case they want to see updated scores and such on Sunday.

Does that mean, that when the player is available, I can immediately play them?

Yep, there are no waiting dates on players as soon as they are dropped you can sign them.

Damnit, I forgot to change my lineups. So much for my undefeated season.

And you know what? Looking on my team right now, I have no idea how the hell I got to 6-0. Very little talent.

I was going to say that as well!

I bet you didn't think you'd be getting the better Running Back after our trade though. Can't believe all 3 players are going to effectively be nullified this season.

I'm in a close one down 2 with Sammy Knight, Vinatieri, & Northcutt vs. Lewis and Freeny.

Update: up .5 now thanks to Knight and Vinatieri.(Freeny's safety didn't help....)

Wild, I really don't have much interest in an IDP league, so I'm not going to stick with it after this season.

I'll stay active enough to keep the roster full as long as you need me, but if you find a replacement, feel free to toss me.

Once again Devil didn't bother checking the roster.....I know the Sox were in the playoffs and won the WS but would it hurt to spend 5 minutes to check the roster. 4 points > BYE. I'm not asking for much just adjust the rosters for the bye weeks. Average Joe's have IR guys starting and Hellcats have a bye week QB with a QB on the bench. It's pathetic as no team is eliminated(everyone is within 2 games of a playoff spot BTW) but yet there is too much inactivity. I might allow co-owners just to fix the rosters if people don't get active. Just an FYI if we don't get 16 people playing, 2008 will have 12 or 14 teams. /rant

    Going into tonight's game
Mean Machine defeats IsCrap 134.5 to 75.5(1 vs. 0)
    Edge leading Oregon 106 to 49 (1 vs. 1)
Mighty Ones defeat Down Under 81.5 to 80 (0 vs. 0)
Mile High leading Juggernauts 121 to 68.5 (1 vs. 1)
Monkeys leading Red Rovers 70.5 to 61.5 (1 vs. 3)
Junc defeats Average Joe's(whom is going to get kicked out soon) 105 to 78.5 (1 vs. 0)
    MSUJet leading Renegades 90 to 88 (2 vs. 0)
    Hellcats leading Pimps 68 to 58.5 (0 vs. 1)

I'm giving Hellcats a pass here because Carr and Clemens weren't starting. But you could at least put them in the roster so if they play(Carr vs. Indy) you get something rather than nothing
