Surprising that Thomas Jones is 10th in the league in rushing yards, it does not feel that way. He has had 2 very good games, and some so-so. At the same time, he is averaging 18.7 carries per game. That needs to go up a bit. Nice pass by Chad.
Receivers make bigger plays and don't get hit as much. Plus, they're more consistent year to year. QBs can't be like that, and runninngbacks get hurt too much and get the ball too much and don't make enough big plays.

Ugh, the knock on Chad is not that he can't throw the deep ball. He actually has a very nice deep ball. It's those high floaters to the sideline that take forever to get there and leave the receivers completely exposed that are the problem.

Bingo. People did the same thing last year. Chad would suck one week, then beat up on a team like the Texans and everyone's happy. The Bengals defense is worse than ours, that's how bad it is. Lets not overrate his game today.
That is how TJ's stats are. His first couple carries are lame, then carries 10-25 are awesome, and his late game stats aren't great either. Which is why Leon needs the ball just a few more times per game.
