    but the Jets and mangini are who we thought they were ..and we let em off the hook!

    I noticed the quote in your sig. Funny, my son said pretty much the same thing to me last week. He's been a lifelong Jets fan too and he is looking for a new team to root for. He's had it as well.

    Very funny and very astute. They are who we thought they were, or feared when the offensive and defensive lines were neglected in the offseason.

    No surprise.

    The crime of it is that they are probably only three players away from being very good---the NT/DT, the pass rusher, and the road grader.

    WIll they get them though? That is the question.
