Those were the days (I can hear all the young guys rolling their eyes, but that's what happens when there's nothing present to focus on). I was thinking about Pennington's place in the Jets hall of QBs. He and O'Brien are the only Jet QBs to take their teams to the playoffs 3 times, but I prefer Penny to O'Brien. I couldn't stand the way OB would not stick his head into the fray; 7 seasons and he never had a rushing touchdown. The enduring images I have of O'Brien are him turtling two yards from the end zone and getting crushed instead of barreling in. In 3 1/2 seasons, Chad has about 7 rushing TDs Actually, if you could take Chad's heart and guts and stuck it inside O'Brien's gigantic arm, you'd have a QB that could win a championship. Or surgically attach OB's arm to Chad.
Im not missing herm. Mangini got handed a team with half the talent Herm had when he first came here.
oh hell no, no way no how no reason. there is nothing that would in a million years make me miss sperm edwards. that is one of the few things i am happy about with the jets at this point, that that turd sperm edwards is not here. i cant even think of anything that i would want to happen less than sperm being here.
Poor Kliff, he never got a chance. And we got him from the Patsies, so you know he had to be just fantastic, stupid Herm. Hey, he has the same initials as Krispy Kreme. Just a bit of trivia there.
