I haven't decided if this is a serious thread or not. But in light of today's events, I think it's relavent.

Spite makes me want to vote Vinny. Notice I mentioned spite. Maybe I really do.

The touchdown passes I saw Brian Griese and Vinny throw today just made me jealous to see THOSE guys throw the ball like that while our QB has trouble throwing 7 yard out-routes...

    Start Kellen

    Dear Vinny lovers,

You might be singing a different tune by Thanksgiving. Testaverde's new team will have faced Indianapolis, Tennessee, and Green Bay by that time.

It's like asking if you'd rather eat the roadkill armadillo or the roadkill skunk. They will both make you puke your guts out.

Vinny will have an excuse then. Chad, on the other hand, has been unable to beat the Bills, Giants and Eagles.

The only reason I'd rather have Vinny, is because he's so old, that, with Kellen Clemens on the bench, one lousy game, and Mangini would HAVE TO bench Vinny and put in Kellen

To anyone who voted for Vinny, we get the point - you don't like Chad. But be serious, please. There's no way anyone rational would rather have Vinny out there. He looked good coming off the couch in '04 too. Then he went right back to being the same old Vinny.

Well, yeah. But that's what cracks me up: Vinny Testeverde would be a viable option for us at this point.
