    to the Cincinnati Bengals.

They have one of the better QB's in Palmer. 2 very good WR in Ocho Cinco, and TJ Whosurmama. And a consistent RB in Rudi Johnson. Our D is awful, and so is theirs.

I would say that our RB and WR are equal, but Palmer is much better than Chad. However, they are still 1-4. Yes, the QB position is very important however, but this example clearly shows that it is not the only component of the game. I think Chad is at the end of the road, but there is plenty of blame to go around.

They are gonna rip us apart because we can't stop anyone on D, especially them. Just put Clemens in and go 5 wide all game, toss it deep, throw in some trick plays, whatever...

They're going to score a lot of points, fast. Penny can't, we lose.

Their D is just as bad, if not worse than ours... This strategy, while I know it's a bit of a joke, I believe would actually give us a shot...

It's not going to happen though, so I won't dwell on it :rofl2:

They can put up points, we can't. This could be a blowout if chad starts.

Schlegel's gonna track down Chad with a hunting knife, force a fumble, and run it into the EZ.

haa haa, actually I miss interpreted this wrong... I thought you meant Chad Pennington and Thomas Jones, Then it dawned on me, TJ Houshmanzada, and Chad Johnson.

But realistically how can we truly judge Coles and Cotch? We don't have a "real" NFL qb throwing them the ball anymore. I would love to see what they look like under KC...

As of now with CP throwing the ball i have to agree That TJ and Ocho Cinqo are better, but we cant be sure.

    Agreed....

CHad Johnson: Top 5 WR in the league
Housh: Top 10 WR in the league, maybe even top 5

Both WRs are #1 receivers. If Housh is on any other team. he's a #1.

    Coles: Glorified #2 receiver
Cotchery: #2 receiver now may be a #1 in a year or so or with a better QB.

The comparison there is not even close.

At RB. Rudi and Jones are about the same I agree.

It also helps Chad and T.J. that they have a QB, if Kellen were in from the start I'm sure Cotch and Coles would have numbers that were somewhat comprable to them.

Yeah you can definitely assume a guy with 1 game NFL experience will turn Coles and Cotchery into better recievers than TJ and Chad

While I agree with most of the comments on this thread (TJ and Ocho Cinco are better than Coles and Cotch), the point I was tying to make was that, even with a QB like Palmer (who is MUCH better than Chad) the Bengals are still only 1-4.

In one game under him, against a very good defense, they put up phenomenal #s......

    Cincy WR >>>> Jets WR
    Cincy QB >>>> Jets QB
    Cincy RB = Jets RB
    Cincy D = Jets D
Our WR will never be better then Cincy's as long as we have a noodle arm as QB. Our WR don't get the TD and yards to be top anything.

It's funny when the posters with variations of Chad Pennington's name in their user name are now saying 'noodle arm' without flinching.

Personally I think Cotchery could have HOF potential with a good QB.. and even with a better qb, TJ is not a better player than either Coles or Cotchery.
