If it's a tie, it would count as an undefeated season, right? Or does the NFL take the concept of a Tie counting as 0.5 win and 0.5 loss literally? Questions like this keep me up at night.
Im still trying to figure out why everyones making a big deal about this game....its basically a meaningless non conference game for two teams that are win their divisions handily......maybe if they meet in february we can have all this hype?
This is not really a big deal, but why is the poll still open? At some point in the 1st quarter, 27 of 36 voters had chosen New England. There have been at least 6 people who voted while the game was in progress. New England Patriots abyzmul, Baron Samedi, bsaeagle64, Cakes, Cellar-door, Don, DrewAlmighty, Exit 117, FrankTheTank, InChadWeTrust, Jetdic, Learn_To_Swim, Mantana Soss, MParty7441, mr3putt, NDmick, NJJets, nyjetsrule, ouchy, Patriots Nation NY, Penning10toColes, rillo, The Predator, twombles_62, tylaw4president, VickBlows, ViLMaNiaC51, WhiteShoeWillie, Wolfe Tone, YanksFan1992 30 71.43% Dallas Cowboys Bill, devilonthetownhallroof, Dirtywater, dwalsh, JeTsInTexas, jetzIII, jixxjr, Murrell2878, ollie, PF4JETS, RobA, Yisman 12 28.57%
What's all the hate for the Cowboys from Jet fans for? As far as I know they aren't rivals. I don't understand it.
The concept of moving the ball on offense like these teams do with ease is very unsettling to me as a Jets fan.
The Jets and Cowboys are certainly not rivals. The thing is Cowboys fans are now starting to come out of the woodwork again. I'm in Giants-Jets-Eagles country, but this might as well be a 4-team region. The Cowboys bandwagon is one of the most annoying bandwagons. The "America's Team" label is also quite annoying. Also, when good, the Cowboys seem to get more love by the sports media than any other team and that includes Notre Dame football.
Marion Barber is sick. He almost got tackled in the endzone which would have been a safety, but he fought off a number of Patriots to stay away from the safety. That was very impressive.
Sorry, I just got back on the board. Yes, that sums it up. Especially here in NYC where fans of other cities' teams always come out of the woodwork when they are winners and we are down. I've seen so many Cowboys sweatshirts over the past couple of weeks. "America's Team" my ass. They were never my team.
I agree.....except that I think a lot of these "cowboys" fans were 49er's fans in the 80's. Cowboys fans....at least the ones not from Texas, are just fair weather, front runners, IMO.
