Of course he is not worth it. The point I was making was that he will leave rather then renegotiate because he can never play NT in a 3-4.

Highest kudos should be given to Herm & TB for the acquiring of DeW

the bigger question will be whether Mangini will have lost all credibility by the end of the season and how that will affect bringing in free agents and our current players restructuring to stay.

we have to keep Coles, but he has already once voiced his displeasure with Mangini's training camps and the liklihood of him willing to endure it again as the losses continue to pile up as a direct result of Mangini's decisions, is minimal if he losses confidence in Mangini's ability to win.

project that on other players already here and free agents from other teams, and I don't see many players wanting to play for the Jets and endure Mangini's training camps if they aren't confident it will pay off during the season. and if Mangini backs off his rigorous regiment, that shows weakness on his part, and who would want to play for a weak coach. Mangini is ruining this team with every loss.

I think that as long as the player gets the contract he wants, he'll sign with the team willing to give it to him. Last year was clearly a flash in the pan with a bunch of differnt factors leading to 10-6. The team is obviously rebuilding still. This can be done through the draft and with free agents that fit the mold of the team. Mangini deserves teh benefit of the doubt for another season or two.

No way Karlos Dansby hits the Free Agent market. Same for Justin Smith who probably wouldn't welcome the scheme switch. I'd say we had a shot at Faneca, but if Pete Kendall couldn't keep his mouth shut here, Faneca probably won't be able to either.

We just have to pray Haynesworth or Suggs need a change of scenery.

I find that we have technically too many holes to plug in the off season without bringing in more unproven talent or wash outs from other teams to only have the same excuses next year of lines gelling.
