I don't forget it at all. I do give him a pass for it being his first start in the NFL though. If he continues to look like that we'll be drafting another QB next season. I don't think he will though, in post game interviews he talked about how the game slowed down for him in the second half and he started to settle in. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a pattern.

What really sucks is that Mangini rushed Chad back the following week and blew the opportunity to give Clemens some continuity. I'm really starting to doubt Mangini's basic football smarts at this point. Nothing on the field remotely resembles the work of a guy who knows what he is doing.

because he made more than enough plays to single handedly push it to OT for us in the 4th. what was it two or three dropped td's that wouldve sent it to OT?

He didn't look good in pre-season either.

It took awhile for me to finally fall off Chad's bandwagon. I was never a huge fan, but also have memories of many shitty QBs for this team. While he never looked like the superstar QB (aside from '02) he WON (and has will and heart to succeed).
This season his arm looks even worse than last year. Not only are his passes floating even more, his physical limitations are finally affecting his confidence and decision making. :shit:

I did. He first came out and was with a group of players and Chad was behind that group next to the bench. I thought "whats this is Kellen starting " then came the coin toss and Chad was there . Oh damn.

I thought he had some really nice passes last game. He completed balls down the middle of the field in the 10-15 yard range on some very long third downs with decent zip. If he doesn't make the terrible decision to throw the ball up for grabs on his 2nd pic, none of this talk would be taking place. This entire week reminds me of the commentators during the entire Miami game last year until he hit Cotch for the touchdown. It is easy for everyone to pile while a player is down. I think the biggest issue is he is thinking too much and not allowing plays to develop and using his instincts to just throw the ball. If he can't do this this week, then we need to move on.

He did...... when they were ahead. Once they're playing from behind, he presses and makes bad decisions.
