Ughhhhhh  I got home in the bottom of the eighth and a few thoughts about this. 1. GREAT pitching by Andy do give us a shot 2. AROD....0 for your last 18 in the postseason, iyiyi We're gonna need a miracle to come back this season  but it's not over yet
The gnats and the bats screwed us up in this one. Giambi should have played over Matsui. The bats need to do something (that means you, ARod, Jorge, Matsui, Jeter). Jorge needs to block the plate. Joba needs to keep his composure.
if you younger guys want to get an idea what Sandy Koufax was like in the early 60s for 2 or 3 years. he was Andy Petite tonight but only with about 5 more mps on his fastball.
Oh, excuse me. I thought this was a Yankess-Indians thread. Mets? Red Sox? What do they have to do with this thread?
Have to credit Fausto. It's incomplete just to chalk it up to inactive Yankee bats, because that guy did everything he needed to, and then some.
Of course, it all comes down to ARod. Everyone else on the team loaded the bases for ARod, and he struck out every time. He's done absolutely nothing, but god forbid anyone else get any blame.
Oh certainly. He and Perez were on it tonight. But with the bats in the Yankees lineup, you need to muster up more than 3 hits. I don't care if Pedro is pitching in 2001. I don't care if Bob Feller is pitching or Bob Gibson or Sandy Koufax. This offense should get more than 3 hits in 11 innings.
I still believe were not out of it. That said, if we lose in game 3 I want A-Rod n Boras to take there 30 mil per year demand n shove it up their ass. I will pay for that first ticket for A-Rod to Chicago so his father figure can caress n hug him in these tough situations.
Of course it's not all ARod's fault but when will this guy do something! anything! is 1 freakin RBI too much to ask? he came up twice w/ RISP tonight and did nothing AS USUAL. He's our best player, at some point he needs to play like someone other than our worst player.
