Testy? It was a TREMENDOUSLY stupid post. I had to emphasize that. All Yankees fans (there you go) know that, too, they just won't admit it. As for testy, you don't really see me get testy or angry. You can look at other Mets fans for that. Did I say you did?

Hey, he's right. Granted, I love to see it happen, but there is of course a part of me that has pity, just because we've seen it happen and the result after it. It's brutal, to have something taken away from you that you viewed inevitable, in this case playoff baseball for the Mets. But let's get back on topic here.
First off...one series victory in what...100 years? and they own us? hmmm...if thats the case..the Mets are like that jacket I have in my closet from my teen years...I have OWNED it for a very long time. Secondly, this "you guys will be home before too long" is like going on the greatest vacation in your life and your friends leave a week early and start telling you from home "yeah..enjoy it..but you will be home before too long" Still sipping on the pina colodas..and I have to tell you...the view is great!! I guess one of the great things about the Mets collapsing and Yankees winning is that all the Yankees fans who have been in hiding now reappear.
The GYC fired up a lot of Mets fans in the attic as well. A lot of the same criticisms of the Yankee fans in this thread are exactly the ones that the Mets fans denied in the GYC!!
Most Yankee fans didn't hide... what would he have to hide about? Not making the playoffs one year? After 13 straight years and 4 WS championships and 6 pennants? Most of our attitudes were if it happens it happens... rebuild and move on to next season... but after July 1 we righted the ship so why would anyone wait till the Mets loss to come out of hiding? GMC!!!!
