And I don't have a problem with Yankees fans rubbing it in, because they just think that this is revenge for GYC (even though I wasn't a part of that, but hey, I'm just one guy here). Can't speak for everyone else (first time I've posted in this thread, and I generally feel bad for Mets fans, because that collapse was BRUTAL), but I can't say I feel TOO bad for them, because after listening to the Fan all season long, and listening to Mets fans call in and bash and bash and bash and bash the Yankees in April, May, June, and even July... I can't say I feel too sorry for them. Of course, that's just directed at those specific fans who acted like immature knuckleheads, who obviously forgot one of the cardinal rules of baseball (it's a long season), and who will - with all likelihood - deny any association with their earlier comments. At the very least, that's one of the major pluses of the internet. Can't hide from your earlier comments. Speaking for myself, that's why I try to never ever ever make any predictions with certainty, or to talk too much smack before the game is up. Sorry Mets fans. You deserved a better finish. You didn't get it. That sucks.
W/ all the bad kharma I have being a Jets fan in New ENgland, a former Hartford Whaler fan, and a post 2000 yankee fan(I was more of a pirates fan growing up) I sway away from talking trash... But after years of reading the GYC thread... this is only fitting GMC!!!
