Warn them to keep out of the Mets threads, because some are already doing it, right now I am still pissed about the whole thing so I won't do anything rash, but anymore of this nonsense in the Mets thread and I'll act. Mets fans as a whole for the most part was civil about the downs during the Yankee year, and even during the GYC we basically kept it to one thread. I exact the same from Yankee fans
That's what I intend on. Ed was in the Mets threads earlier today, and I was close to getting rid of him until he stopped. Looking ahead, Yankee playoff game threads, Yankee and Mets Offseason threads aren't the places to start verbal brawls. That is sacred grounds. Yankee fans are hot on the GMC thread right now, just like the GYC thread was. I'm sure the Mets fans will start something if the Yankees are disposed of the playoffs early as well. That's all fine.
I don't mind this thread so long as it is kept in this thread. Mets fans had always gotten a bad rap for this but it has been equal on both sides, the last thing we need is to get back to the annoying Yankees/Mets wars that was going on in practically every thread a while ago.
Don't get confused, this is payback for all the Met fan jealousies of the yanks. We don't care about the Mets we are just laughing at the Mets right now after we heard it all summer from the Met fans and have heard it fr 3 years since our collapse. it' one thing to lose 4 straight but to blow a 7 game lead in the final weeks- wow!
