I'm trying to decipher what this means. I went out of my way today to get rid of a troll in your Mets thread. If you're telling me Yankee fans can't poke fun after years of your GYC bullshit, I'm not going to buy it. What people found annoying about you was that you would enter our game threads with wasteful comments. We have a whole new separate thread dedicated to it. You don't have to read it, just like many fans ignored the GYC which your fan base adored and wasn't even involved in precipitating.

Cakes I appreciate your effort but I really am laughing at this thread (and the hypocracy involved in it) and take no offense to my long time friend Big Poppa Naich's good spirited jokes. These guys are clowns... have a good laugh at them.

In August I made a comment about admitting I look to, on occasion, annoy people in baseball threads. I got a stern talking to from a mod. Big Poppa Naich just made a similar post and I want to know that the Yankees fan mod will treat him in a similar manner.

As I have written several times in the last few days, I have no problem with Yankees fans messing with Mets fans here.

I just want it to be equal. In August a Yankees fan mod got all over me because I made comments about the Rocket Man.

Comparison? We're just celebrating the greatest regular season collapse in the history of baseball at the hands of the Nationals and Marlins. Please don't fault us.

What the heck are you talking about? I have a right to post just as much as you do. I've been a long time member here, and I don't go around breaking rules.

Methinks some Mets fans are being a little touchy tonight.

I was told by a mod to stop writing bad things about the Yankees. I stopped in mid-August.
Meanwhile, here tonight, you admit to wanting to annoy Mets fans with "your bullshit."

Dude, Mets and Redsux fans have had this thing going for years to annoy Yankee fans about 04. Turnabout is fair play.

See post 104. I don't have a problem with you doing it. Rather, my problem is they won't let me do the same or I face a banishment. You see what I am saying?

I already responded to your posts above. Not sure why you're picking on me. I gave you a reasoned response. Not my fault you're seeing this from one side.

    This was your theme-
But again, until now, I've never heard someone actually say that they fully intend on annoying the fans of another team.

Now you've heard it from at least a second person.

What difference does it make if it is in a GMC thread or a series thread? These threads are all part of the same forum.

I don't think you'll find much support on this one from your fellow Mets fans. People in this forum find it much worse and intrusive if an opposing fan taunts them in their own game threads where they are discussing what's happening on the field, and not engaging in back and forth prodding with a fan who is there for the purpose of annoying them (which is what you were doing). The Yankee fans that you saw in the Mets threads were there to contribute and be apart of discussing the pennant race, and I made sure of that. See Yisman as a Mets fan who contributed nicely and consistently to Yankee threads. I use him as an example a lot, but it holds true.

I don't understand where I'm being unfair. We're not going to remove all of the fun of local baseball by discouraging all back and forth between opposing fans, but I think we can moderate and encourage civility like we're trying to do here. There is whole separate thread for horseplay which both fan bases seem to enjoy as well. As long as it's done properly.
