5 votes for 25 baby! One day we'll break it... hopefully a few weeks from now. Sure would be nice to see USF, UF, FSU, UM, and UCF all ranked.
How amazing would that be? I'm sick of hearing about USC, UCLA, Cal... As a state, Florida has some GREAT athletes, coaches, and programs.
UCLA is garbage this year...you won't be hearing much about them in a couple of weeks. Florida has the fastest players in the country (The Speed State), but California is so populated that a lot of GREAT players come out of there. USC has just been getting them all lately. UCLA is most likely going to have a Top 5 class this year by the looks of things though. There might be a little shake up on the West Coast.
i think its gonna bee very tough, i know we all learned this weekend that its impossible to predict the future polls, but our best bets (assuming VT wins out until the game getting a 8-10 ranking and we beat them) is a combination of 2-3 of the following: LSU losing to florida or kentucky, OSU losing to Purdue or mich st or PSU, UW losing to Penn State, USF losing to Rutgers, Cal losing to UCLA or ASU, USC losing to Oregon. I definitely think any of the above are possible and if it plays out like that (and knock on wood BC does their thing), a top 3 ranking is not totally out of the question. But then again, let's not get ahead of ourselves
i would've agreed with that statement before saturday, however with GT beating clemson i think that it makes BC's win over GT a very good one. I could even stretch it and argue that the win over Wake as somwhat of a quality win (first game of the season vs. last seasons ACC champs) but that is a little too "meh" to put in the effort
I'll admit GT is always a tough win due to Tenuda and their defense but if that is what you are hanging your hat on, that doesn't justify a top 10 ranking. When it all shakes out I think BC will be an above average ACC team but out of a BCS bowl. Just my opinion.
What powerhouse does BC play till the bowl game? There are none, they can easily be 7-0 in 2 weeks and be 10-0 going to Clemson. BC is probably the strongest team in a weak ACC.
I don't know about that...when Clemson's ON, they're nasty. You better hope that when BC and Clemson face off that BC sees the un-motivated Clemson squad. I just don't think a team can be un-motivated when facing off against a conference foe...especially when BC is most likely going to be the best in the ACC at that time. It should be a good game.
You're outnumbered at the moment Rambo , which doesn't make us right , but I think BC have the momentum and will turnover your VT.
