too bad the season is over after only 2. :(

Gonna be a looooooooooooong year `round these parts, no?

Did you hear those fans up there in Western NY cheering their 0-3 team? You don`t get shit like that in NYC/NJ. 20 years ago Jets fans were crazy like that. Thing is, it`s now 20 years later and all those nutcase Jets fans have turned into Giants fans.

i agree. I'm sick of these rah rah jet fans. I have been rooting for this team since the Namath days and they just always break your heart. I told my friend they were going to be at best 6 and 10 this year and it looks like I might have been to generous. Lets face it, we had a a cakewalk schedule last year. we have major holes in the defense, no pass rush. QB that is a 2nd stringer. Boggles the mind why so many people still are Chad fans. I'm just so tired of the yo yo years that the Jets put us through.

Season's not over man. The 4 games I see us as not having a shot in are Pittsburgh, Dallas, Tennessee and New England.

If we can steal one of those games and lose only one of the "winnable" games, we could finish 9-7 and sneak into the playoffs. This season is not even close to being over:jets:

Does it look bad? Yes, but look at the other teams.

New England, Pittsburgh and Indy all look like they should make it. However, the other likely wild card contenders (Denver, San Diego, Tennessee and Baltimore) don't seem that much better than us. San Diego will probably win the division and Tennessee might bet one of the wild cards; but we can definitely be as good as Denver or Baltimore.

    Well that's my 2 cents at least:jets:

Yeah we've looked bad so far, but jeez why even watch if you don't have any hope for the season. We started last season 2-3, so if we win next week it would be the exact same start.

Yeah this season could suck but it's far from over

I agree. Watching this team the way they are playing is so painful. Chad sucks and our defense is pathetic. They better make some serious changes, and fast.

There is still hope. Everyone simply expect to come out of the gates and stand toe to toe with the best, which we should. But that hasnt gone accordingly and we barely beat the second worse team in the NFL who is now the worse team because WE just game the previous worse team in the NFL THEIR FIRST WIN!

The team is not good, I am not saying they are. But throwing in the towel after Week 4 is pathetic in my opinion. Optimism is important right now, not having it is annoying and basically makes the thing you enjoy (the Jets) not very fun. My philosophy is think positive all week and only have 3 hours of pain.

Gentlemen, going into the season, I was figuring 8-8. We simply were not as strong as our record indicated last season. The one area of weakness that we know of is in the trenches on both the offensive and defensive lines. We did nothing to shore up those positions during the off season. Now given a few lucky breaks, a few lucky bounces, and we are looking at 8-8, just like I predicted. Lets be honest, we are not a playoff team. In my opinion, anybody that thought that we were, was mildly delusional.

How can you say fans expecting the jets to be a playoff team delusional? This team went to the playoffs last yr correct? You expect them to go into the offseason, improve, then come back better than last yr and make another run to go deeper. This 1-3 start is completely unexpected.
