I really cant believe you people are blaming Chad for this loss. Its not Chad fault our defense made a rookie qb look like a freaking pro bowler. Its not Chads fault we had no running game. its not Chads fault Nugent missed a 37 yd field goal.
They are not Pennington haters, they are people who like Pennington but think that he sucks and needs to be benched or traded.
IT NOT THAT WE ARE BLAMING CHAD. FIRST i am a Chad supporter that has now turned a leaf. I admit it. We need fire in this team. The D actually stepped up at the end of the game and gave us a chance. YES they were horrible but when clutch time came THEY CAME THROUGH. When clutch time came for the offense CHAD DID NOT COME THROUGH. its as simple as that. If we wouldve had one long yardage play for a score i think that wouldve set the tone.
He should take the blame for two INTS and scoring only 14 points against the worse defense of whole league.

ok so I guess you expet our defense to shut the team out? Chad threw the TD that put them up 17 to 10. Chad threw the interception that ended the game. Chad dinks the ball because he cant thread the needle because CBs close the gap on the ball too fast. I can grap a beer from the fridge before the ball lands in the receivers hands. RBs have no whole because teams play 8 in the box. You just dont follow the game or have limited knowledge of the game or you would realize that many of our offensive problems are a function of Chads inability to have a vertical passing game. And by the way, I have been watching the Jets since the Namath days so I think I have a good idea what I'm talking about. Bottom line is that after two, not one, but two rotator cuff surgeries his arm is shot. Bert Jones use to have a gun and then tore is rotator cuff and he was never the same. I suggest before you get on us Chad haters you realize that our goal is to win a SB and that won't happen with Chad at the helm.
Well, you don't know how Clemes will do. I am definitely not saying he is better than Chad. We know what we get from Chad, best result 6 Wins for whole season.. It makes no difference to win 6 games or 2 games. We need to find out what we have in Clemens..... We will have a better idea when we revuild team next year. Please don't tell me you still have faith that Chad will take this team to playoff.
We have the potential for a good running game. We have the tools, just gotta figure out hw to use them...mind you they are not name brand tools...they are the $1 section tools....

He is not the only one to blame but no doubt the main culprit.. After the INT lead to 7 points the game was over..
But the D gave up 17 points to the worse Offense in the league that only avg. 8 pts a game until now!!! The whole entire team is to blame for this loss!!!
You know what.... Maybe he won't, but I'll tell you what won't happen.... Clemens WON'T dump the ball off to a back 27 times in one game....! You do NOT win games that way, that's all there is to it.... When you complete more than FIVE TIMES as many passes under ten yards as you do over ten yards, you have an issue, and that issue is that you do NOT have a passing game
Nobody is blaming Chad for the loss. In fact, Chad did what he does every week, and that is not the lose the game. And in not losing the game for the Jets, he did not win it either. That's right. He's not losing us games, and he's not winning us games. We have a new arm in the wings, one who seems to be NFL ready. This team needs a spark. Chad was a spark when Testaverde was done, and so too Clemens will be a spark under this dying Chad era. Like it or not, Chad's days as a Jet are numbered. No sane Jets fan hates Chad. A lot here hate his arm, which is understandable, but for anyone to hate what he has done for us is insane. Chad has been one of the greatest QBs in Jets history. Everyone appreciates that. But like Testaverde, O'Brien, and many others, he will go out without a ring. This team, with or without Chad, is not getting a ring. Chad does not have enough time left, with Clemens waiting behind him, to get a ring wearing Jets green and white. This team is another few stinkers of games away from being a rebuilding team. Under that premise, it is best to start getting out with the old, and in with the new. This is not a knock on Chad, but rather a nod to the future. Fight it all you want... it's coming.
No he didn't. If you consider him throwing a pick at the end to be losing the game for us, then you are completely off base. The Jets had every opportunity to not be in a position where Chad had to make a throw like that. Nugent could have hit the field goal. The defense could've put together a consistent pass rush and not have a rookie QB throw all over us. Schottenheimer could've opened up the offense BEFORE we were in a desperate situation. There is blame all around the team. Chad did not lose the game for us. But as I pointed out, he didn't win it for us either.
How bout the INT that led to the TD that put the game out of reach? He wasn't solely to blame but the main culprit.
