    Good call on USF.

I wouldn't count on USC to dismantle either of those teams. LSU is incredibly fast and powerful on both sides of the ball. I will never go against an Urban Meyer coached team. I didn't last year and I didn't when he took Utah to a BCS bowl. His teams can adjust to play against ANYONE.

I’m into the whole USF deal so don’t take this the wrong way but here’s why USF can hang with these teams and will only get better. USF is a pretty big school these days that is still really easy to get into; it’s almost community college like. Couple that with the fact that they have a program that is building a reputation, and they are in the prime bottom feeder location – central / south Florida.

I know you guys think you know high school football – but its Friday night lights around here. Dudes way too dumb to get into college but could probably outplay most of the Jets D can get into USF…easily. They’re just happy to not have another terrorist applicant. I go to high school games around here – and have been watching a few of the Bulls for a while…no surprise to me, they got skilz.

USF will play Miami each year from 2009-2013.
USF will play Florida in 2010 and 2015.
USF will play UCF in 2008.

    What a drive...4th and 15 was money.

21-13! I'm hoping for an exciting finish.

Florida is still going to own the state/most of the east coast in recruiting...but I think that USF may make a push past Miami and bring in some big time players - maybe a 5 star or two.

I don't like Meyer. Comes across as a douchebag tool to me, plus he is friendly with Belichick. Plus, they are defending champs. I also think Tebow is a major tool and a blockhead.

LSU was one of my favorite college teams dating back to the mid-1980s, but I lost some interest this year. USC and LSU are the only two huge national powers that I really like. Oklahoma I can stomach also, but I usually pull for underdog teams and teams that don't finish in the top 10 on a regular basis.
WVU, USC, and Navy are my top 3 favorites.

    Great punt by Alvarado...

    2:41 for WVU to drive 70 yards...And still need a 2-pt conversion...

    Setting up nicely!

If I was the suicidal type, I would now be dead.

This was probably the worst sports night of my life.

They didn't lose the game because of that drop. Even if he would've caught it, they still had around 40 seconds to score...and then they'd have to get a two-point conversion just for the tie.

Urban Meyer might be a "douchebag tool" but he's arguably the best coach in college football right now and he's still very young.

I think that Pete Carroll is an asshole that only wins because of the talent that he has on his team. In a couple of years, people could use that same excuse against Meyer, but Meyer has won with average players at Bowling Green and Utah. Pete Carroll was douche in New York and especially in New England. He hasn't success as a head coach anywhere but USC.

As for Tim Tebow - I hope that he wins the Heisman this year. He is carrying the ball 20 times a game as a QB and absolutely destroying defenses with his legs and his passing ability.

I never wrote he is not among the best coaches. I simply wrote I don't like him. Hence, why I would like to see USC dismantle his team.

I thought the Jets hiring Pete Carroll in 1994 was asinine. I was thrilled when he was fired.

To be fair Carroll restored USC from the Hackett area and brought them to national prominence that it hadn't seen in nearly 3 decades

Yeah well his coordinators and his recruiting staff helped out in BIG WAYS. I think that Carroll had something to do with that Reggie Bush booster incident and it kind of got pushed under the rug. Pete Carroll is a jerk.
