And now Phillies up by 6. Not good.

I think everyone needs to calm down, though. Worst case scenario, we're tied at the end of the night. This is terrible, considering where we were just two weeks ago, but, we'd still have a very good chance of making the playoffs, and anything can happen there.

I'm grasping at straws, I know, but I don't think it makes sense to just give up.

No it doesn't make sense to give up, but it's not looking too good right about now.

Jose Reyes has been my favorite Met for a while, but he's really tested me this month.

I have nothing good to say, and I think I'll just leave it at that.

In a twisted way, it's funny to me that Yadier Molina has the day off.

I don't like the idea of being tied when Martinez and Smoltz were the guys who got it tied. The Phillies will face crap Washington pitchers. Meanwhile, the Mets will be using Perez and two turds (Maine and some other fuckknob).
The Mets confidence, if it isn't already shattered, should be all gone after tonight unless shit changes.

CBS is already on in my place. I leave thread now.

First of all, Washington fucked us up. Maybe they do the same to Atlanta.

Second of all, so what? We got a chance. And we could still win this game.

I was just about to say that Pedro had settled down, but then he gave up that double...

We need a crooked number immediantly. Next inning, we need to get Pinero out of the game.

Of course not. But I shouldn't have to hope for this. Top of the order's up next inning, and I expect some major offense.

If the Mets can't generate any offense with the top of the lineup coming up here in the 6th, we can forget about this game. At this point, I'm just assuming the 'pen will give up AT LEAST 2 runs...and thats kinda optimistic

Either way, I'm watching The Office at 9...can't stand watching these Mets much longer

Atlanta put up 3 in the 6th. Philly can still choke that one away, Philly style. Can't rule that out.

I can't believe we're getting 3 hit by Joel Pinero in the most important game of the season. This is insane.
