    Vikings +3 @KC

Bet the mortgage, take out a second mortgage, liquidate your 401k and put it on the Vikings immediately.

    lock it up.

Shit, 3-0 last week, 0-3 week one. Having a great day betting, but I forgot to post. I had Jets -3, Colts -6, and Eagles over 44.

Well, let's try the later games
    LOCK
    Giants/Redskins over 41.5
    HON MEN
    Browns/Raiders under 41.5
    PARLAY
    Falcons +4.5

My picks have been horrible, I think it would be best if I get out of the prophecy business

In my defence -- Jaxsonvilles offence had been awful and figured Den at home would be a good thing -- wrong again -- Jets lazy defence caused a tie and I guess I got caught in the Detroit has improved Philly is struggeling scenario -- but looking at everyone elses picks I dont feel so bad

0-2-1 for the week 3-5-1 overall 0-3 on the lock ugh

    til next week

    detroit was a dumb pick.

    As for Jacksonville:

they often play down to the level of their competition, so people get caught in the trap of picking them against bad teams and picking against them when they face good teams.

maybe, but I'm pretty sure that makes it the 2nd biggest spread of the year (behind NE -17 over BUF).

all I can say is that it's a good thing people don't actually listen to the advice being given in these threads, otherwise they'd be bringing lawsuits against Petro.
