We had to pass interfere because we were getting pass interfered. That was a disgusting call, if they were going to call interference it had to go against #99. It was so obvious I started to cheer when I saw the flag come out..
They were both jockeying for position - 9 times out of 10 that goes against the defense if it gets called. Bottom line is an NFL DB should be able to cover a defensive end easily - Coleman was way out of position.
And Coleman should have submarined him. That would have been the last time Cameron put his best defensive player in a Jump Ball position.
I'll rewatch it when the torrent comes out. When I saw it on TV I thought for sure it was defensive pass interference right away. My eye is usually pretty good with calling those things - but I was at least 8 beers deep.
Absolutely agree. That was no jockeying. Taylor pushed him away. I was cheering thinking it was such an obvious offensive pi call. My god that was a brutal freaking call as were a couple of PI calls. Also, how much holding did these guys ignore. I saw 8-9 plays where jersey grabs and pull downs were not called. The refs sucked bigtime yesterday. Oh the holds were all by the Dolphins offensive line.
it was pass interference, but more so on Taylor, because if you watch the play, JT clearly pushes off of Coleman before EC got the chance to interfere, which may have been the reason to interfere....the ball wasnt thrown so high that he couldnt bat it down....
Wow. I saw it as a clear case of defensive pass interference. This is either a case of a bunch of you people wearing green goggles or I'm blind.
It was a mismatch because Taylor lined up in a three-point stance and then motioned wide. Yes it was pass clearly pass interference.
